Jacksonville has been H.O.T. Heat indexes over 106 every day. Never cools off at night. Even the hotel pool is like bathwater warm at first light when I've done lap swimming.
Can' imagine living here without AC.
That was a good price on a whole beef tenderloin, how did it eat? I'm looking forward to grilling some nice steaks with DS#1 when I get to Colorado tomorrow.
Aaron Judge is on the IL. Yankees can't seem to find offensive rhythm. M is thoroughly annoyed and may write a very stern letter to Hal Steinbrenner.
Miss my girls. More hot work in storage unit today, then it will be cleared out on Thursday. No more monthly payments to Storage company for junk no one in the family wants.

Good morning.
Austin is similar to JAX, but I think maybe a smidge less humid. Only a couple days reaching 100 so far this Summer thanks to the weird rain patterns though. We'll make up for lost time in August., I'm sure.
We went to a combination distillery/winery/brewery yesterday for a change of scenery. Of the four bourbons in the tasting, only one wasn't trash, but also wouldn't be something I'd buy and bring home.
Today we're going to Georgetown to meet friends for lunch and have a doggie play date with the Shih Tzus we used to babysit. After that, probably another failed nap attempt and then salad prep, etc for the coming week.
I need to get Cecilia on board with clearing out our storage bin. They're charging $270 a month which is a steep price for stuff we'll probably never have room for here. It was one thing when we really thought we'd find a bigger place, but the math doesn't work.

Well, here in God's country, it will be 76 and sunny, with low humidity, today. Sorry, guys. That's our normal summer weather.
Church this morning, then we'll run a few errands.
I'm actually sorry to read Judge is on the injured list - though anything bad for the Yankees generally makes me grin. You like to see the best players playing.

Morning gang
It's Pleasantly cool in south central California too. The AC hasn't run in days and with the breeze from the west patio door wore a sweater too. It's pretty warm in the direct sun, but I try to get watering chores done early. For a state in a drought they sure use a bunch of water to keep plants alive.
Today we plan to work on printing our Financials for our upcoming residency appointment. And when I say we I really mean Ron.
An antibiotic shot and pill seems to be curing my UTI. Finally.

Been churched, meeting this afternoon and suppose to go to a reception this afternoon.
It is too darn HOT to go anywhere, left coffee in car during church; still hot when we came out. There is a reason Atlanta is known as Hotlanta and we are generally 5 degrees warmer here than Atlanta.
DW even went to church this morning, busy week coming up with appointments.

- I worked the livestream cameras for our modern service which means I got to sleep later than most Sundays.
- I got in a nice motorbike ride in yesterday before the heat of the day.
- I am not overly empathetic about the Yankees offensive problems. The Braves are not having a good year. Now Mary's Brewers on the other hand have been hot.
- I don't have a storage unit, but I do have a guest bedroom that looks like a yarn warehouse.
