    Sending thoughts/prayers for Mary/Tom, and all those impacted in WI.

    Traffic was horrific this morning……me blood pressure raised already.

    HH tonight with former boss who is in town visiting his grandchildren. He was one of the great ones.

    HOT and STEAMY predicted here all week.

    Standing by for a big news conference at 10a/EST. Oh boy……..

    Good morning.

    It was a sales tax free weekend on clothes in Texas. This was Cecilia's big chance to refresh her wardrobe and feel 8.25% less guilty spending money.

    End result after a regular and outlet mall: I saved about $10 on a pair of walking shoes and a bathing suit. She got bupkis.

    I hear they're going name you the Auto Czar, Skip. Any truth to that?

    Good morning

    The sump pump is working, overtime, but we are dry. Many not so lucky. Ddil was happy they ok and her basement gym $$$ and all their stuff is dry. Next door to them, 7inches of water in basement. We all have basements in this part of Wisconsin, flooding is a huge issue with 8 to 14 inches of rain overnight Sat.

    Glad you are home safely and to a dry basement.

    Continues to be hot and smoky here. Looks like another inside day.

    I haven't opened the news feed yet so don't know what the big announcement will be but likely something I disagree with. I'm ready to be out of the country for awhile.
