    @jguldi11 Thanks for the well wishes today. My kids were great! It was a wonderful day and went by quickly. I teach first grade. I have 17 kiddos.
    I did not know about cinnamon and glucose. Interesting. Love your BINGO list. Way to be an example.

    @Gidgitgoescrzy Darn that nutty bar! There were Ho Hos in the teachers’ room today. I resisted those but did eat a toffee Oreo. Just had to try it. I did log it though. 70 calories! You are right! It is a new day. Wishing you a speedy recovery from your surgery.

    @conleywoods Ugh broken HVAC on a hot day is the worse. Keep pushing though. Soon the bloat will be gone.

    Amazing steps this week team. They are same majorly impressive numbers. Keep it up!


    @ashleycarole86 Ah that perfect day. How I miss our buddy Liselyn. Has anyone heard from her or her sister Evelyn? I remember Evelyn mentioning her spouse had a real tough ALS diagnosis.

    @mkksemail Thanks for all your work on our BINGO boards. Sorry to hear of your disappointment at the gym. I agree. Too hard to workout on a phone.

    Long day at work. Logged my food. Met my step goal. No extra exercise minutes.

    @mkksemail Do you have the ability to cast your phone screen to the TV ? I do that with my yoga app all the time, I have an android, it's called smart view, I am sure an apple phone has the same ability.

    I had a pretty good day yesterday, although I almost took myself to the hospital, LMAO and it is funny now, but I was freaking out, so I am at work, and I am washing my coffee cup and I noticed my finger turning different colors, so I look and my finger is gray, then blue and it's all along one side of my middle finger, so I text a pic of it to my husband am I'm like look this is weird. So then I am driving home and my leg went numb, NOW this is fairly normal for me, it's always the left side, I have nerve damage on that side from surgery, and it's been checked over and over, and it's no big deal. So I get home and my finger is still blue, so the husband looks it up and he's like you should go to the ER this is all a symptom of poor circulation and could be really serious, I'm like ehhhhh, really, I don't know, but I have been having some issues with random come and go pains on the left side the past week…. then suddenly I remembered, I wacked my finger on a desk earlier in the day, or maybe it was the day before, but I remember wacking my finger cause I yelled then looked around to make sure no one heard me cuss in the office. It's just so weird that I didn't notice this until I went to wash my cup, and I didn't remember wacking my finger or what day it was. I feel like I am losing it sometimes… BUT Food was good yesterday !

    This week flew by and I am so ready for the weekend! I'm going to walk this evening and sleep in tomorrow 🤣 My 3 day weekend last week got my sleep pattern out of whack and I've been staying up til midnight most nights 🙈

    @Gidgitgoescrzy I'm so glad you were able to trace the source of your chameleon-like finger. I would have shamelessly screamed my head off if it had been me (I'm a real baby). I hope it gets better soon.

    @mkksemail talking about small screens and exercise, I have started a new program from Caroline's Circuits (she's on Instagram), and they're from her book - Fit at 50. I have an app in which I list the exercises and the times or reps needed. Then I start it and it tells me what to do - and when! This means that I can be watching something else on the TV while also doing my workout. So long as I have my weights, resistance bands and a mat - I'm sorted. All of the other workout programs I follow are on YouTube. And that's great too!

    We (hubby and I) have been so ready for this weekend, seems to have been a long week. I'm particularly pleased that I have managed 4 workouts this week already. My brother and sister-in-law are visiting this afternoon and we're looking forward to an afternoon of laughter. I think I'll cook Spaghetti Carbonara for a late lunch / early dinner as it's quick and easy to cook.

    While writing this, Ben is cooking breakfast for us.

    Ben's been great at helping me get the house ready - I'm prone to getting overwhelmed and then doing nothing, so he's taken charge of the kitchen. So I just have to finish off the living room and complete some very minor jobs.

    I've tried really hard to get back into the habit of 3 meals a day, instead of 2. So far it's working out well and I am much less likely to want to snack.

    I'm out of the house 3 times next week so I'm going to prep 2 lunches. And I have "expressed interest" in an internal vacancy that's come up at the council. I don't want to jinx it, but keep your fingers crossed for me.

    Today was a good day! I took a long walk this morning, then we went and visited my hubby's grandma in the nursing home. She has dementia and doesn't recognize either of us, but still good to see her. Then it stormed and rained all afternoon. I took an amazing nap, finished a puzzle and book I was reading. Tomorrow should hopefully be nice, so working in the yard! 🌞

    @micki48 great job meeting your step goal and food logging! I hope you're not too discouraged by the scale, weight can fluctuate for so many reasons.

    @lauren_989 I'm so jealous of your cozy afternoon, especially the nap, that sounds amazing.

    I have not been motivated to move much the latter half of this week. I'm not sure why exactly, just haven't felt like getting up and going. I finally made it to the gym.... to cancel my membership lol. It's not been realistic for me to exercise there for a while so no point paying for it.

    Friday I gave in to some cravings and we had dinner from a local burger place. I had a burger, some fries, a shake, and a couple bites of popcorn chicken 🫣 it was so good in the moment but my body was not happy with me afterwards.

    Yesterday I got back on track and made sure to log all my food. I've been slacking in logging, I did so well for so long! I know I can get back to it though and yesterday was day 1.

    Yesterday evening I took my Fitbit off to give the kids a bath and I forgot to put it back on until today. I don't think my step count would've been too much more but still a bit of a bummer.

    It's predicted to be a beautiful day today so I'm planning on taking the kids for a walk or to the park or something. My meal kit delivery was delayed so I haven't decided on dinner yet, but something in the crockpot sounds nice.

    Just back from a singing performance with my choir. Such fun! I'm in the back, but at 5ft 0" you won't see me. It was tipping down with rain and I just wanted to stay dry!

    Making vegetable soup (Ben's preferred lunch)

    Hey all! We had a great weekend with our friend who was visiting from Calgary. We had dinners out, went to a comedy show, went bowling, did some walks.. honestly we are so bagged now, didn't feel like there was any down time to the weekend, so I'll probably take it easy again to start the week.

    @stephanodda congrats on your 5 pound lost. I have never done WW before.. do you still report to any actual weekly meeting or no?

    @YinxFed what a large choir group, how fun! Sounds like you had great plans for a productive Sunday.

    My son moved away back to his university accommodation around 1.5 hours away from home 😢

    My husband and I drove him there and helped him unpack. I cried all the way back home 😢

    He's 19 years old in his second year of uni. Was back home for the last 3 months 😢

    It does not get any easier with time 😢

    @ashleycarole86 that sounds like a busy but fun weekend! Sometimes I feel like I need a weekend to recover from my weekend.

    Today was a chilly and cloudy day. It rained on and off this morning, so I didn't get to work in the gardens. I did go for a walk though and went shopping after. Hubby and I will be celebrating our 7th anniversary on Tuesday so I bought supplies to make a cake. I bought his favorite cake, so I won't eat as much 😂

    @stephanodda it's great you found a program that works for you! My SIL is doing WW and has almost made it to her goal weight, I hear it's a motivating program.

    @lauren_989 happy anniversary 🥳 good idea getting his favorite cake haha

    I did not get to take the kids for a walk, baby girl isn't feeling well so we stayed in and my husband and I took turns giving her snuggles. I did get a lot of housework done though, which helped me meet my step goal.

    I was so busy I didn't even think about snacking. A whole day without constant food noise, yay! I must need to be busy like that more often lol.

    I am doing horrible ! I do not know what is wrong with me, but I am not giving up… Everyday is a new day. I am really hoping this camping trip will get me back into a fitness mind shape, cause that is definitely not where I am right now.

    @Gidgitgoescrzy I hear ya. My first recorded weight here in Kelowna back in May was 293.1 and today I was 298.2 - I have been dancing around the same few pounds from 296-298 for months now. I get frustrated and then I remember that if I wasn't here, I'd be even higher. I'm trying to focus on the things I can do well in hopes I can build some momentum.

    @strong_fit_ells Sorry you're going through that heartbreak right now, not easy to be apart from your loved ones.. a tough transition I imagine

    @lauren_989 YES! Weekend from my weekend - that's been me for 3 or 4 weekends in a row now. I imagine September will be a lot of quieter and then we go to London for 9 days or so in October so it'll be busy getting ready for that. I REALLY wanted to lose 10 pounds before my trip but I can't get my you know what together!
