No doctor appointments today, will try and play catch-up.

Visited nursing home yesterday, hope to get DMIL in within next two weeks.

DDIL will remain in hospital till baby is born, expecting doctors to take baby next Thursday as of now.

DW will begin radiation next Wednesday.

Super nice walking Pablo this morning, heat of summer coming back.

Yes we are both now card carrying residents of Mexioc (citizenship is a mich longer and more complicated process and not necessary) we are allowed to now come and go as we please with no time restrictions either short or long. We no longer have to pay the tourist tax on our plane tickets and can freely order from Amazon mexico and other online sites. We can open a Mexican bank account and have utilities in our name if we choose.

Yesterday we found our next apartment. It is a beautiful but sparkly furnished home in a small town outside of Ajijic. There are some restaurants and stores there but mostly we will need to walk, taxi or bus into centro for supplies and entertainment. We will be there 4 weeks or so. The rent was so reasonable that even if we Uber everywhere it will still be way cheaper than a place in Ajijic, not that we found anything good. N

We also have a lead on a super nice house for next year. We are thinking of having this be a base for part of the year and taking week long trips in Mexico every 4-6 weeks. The agent is going to work with the owners and see if we can just rent for March or April thru December. This will let us keep our plan of 3 months in Chile. It was listed for January-December.
