    DW and I visited one of the best Korean restaurants (small dinky strip mall joint) that I have had since being stationed in S. Korea (dare I say) over 30 years ago!

    Long week ahead.

    Spent most of yesterday collecting pics for retirement party slide show.

    Good morning.

    I seem to recall pulling a sweater from the drawer at some point last winter. I think it was because I was heading to DC for a trip, but still… 😂

    We wear sweaters in July and August, at least at night. Just saying …

    Have to get the grandkids off to school this morning and pick them up this afternoon, then take grandson to soccer practice. Do the same tomorrow. Their parents are off in the mountains on their first deer and elk hunt.

    • A sports analyst predicted the GA football teams (UGA, Tech and the Falcons) would go 0-3 this weekend. He has major egg on his face.
    • I met a guy from Austin this week Lou. He didn't know you?!?
    • I'm putting on a fleece jacket to take Hannah out in the mornings.
    • It's almost CO time Lee.

    Morning BBB

    We took a huge walk about town yesterday. Tried unsuccessfully to find a back way in to the house we might rent...maybe in dry season there will be a path. Mostly just wanted to check out the neighborhood. Can't hear the libermiento (bypass road) traffic. It's terrible at our current place.

    Then stopped at the German restaurant for sausages. Overall a good meal, but kinda pricy and nothing spectacular.

    Today we are doing a cocktail tasting. Hopefully, I RSVP'ed but we were supposed to prepay and I didn't get over there when they were open.

    so, we closed the pool yesterday and it’s going to be hot all week. Go figure. Ugh

    I’m pooped.
    Friends with the 6 kids, by choice, are coming here for dinner. I’m Making steak fajitas. Got a huge flank steak marinating.
