Best of luck and prayers uplifted for Sam's DDIL and baby, and also for Joanne.

    Purgatory Chasm! How was it?

Your handiness around the house is impressive, Steve. These days, I just call "the guy" and then complain when his handiwork doesn't meet my standards.

I'm guessing DS and DDIL did not fill any of their tags, Dave.

Dog training this am and then phone call with Medicare advisor this afternoon.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning!

We are finally getting some much needed rain. So far, just a quarter inch, but it is still raining. I can't get Frankie outside as there is thunder in the area and she is shaking while lying next to the brick fireplace hearth.

Prayers for Joanne, and for DDIL and DGD.

I'm not feeling so well this morning. Perhaps today will be a rest day.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Sam, I have you and your entire family in my prayers.

No tags were filled, Lee. They saw many does but no bucks.

I have come down with a virus. I slept on the couch downstairs last night, so I wouldn't disturb - or infect - Rita. Feel kind of rotten.

We may get some rain on Sunday we'll see. Smart dog Steve staying away from T-storms!!

Eye appt yesterday went on "forever" we'll see what any new concerns might be later.

    Good Morning

Not too much going on in your life Sam. I am glad DMIL has found a spot. A new grandbaby will be such a comfort and joy in the midst of all this stuff. I do remember my first week of radiation being more involved but by the 2nd week it was all routine.

More broken promise forecasts for us. Another blue sky day, but the wind is building in the evenings. I was going to grill some chicken thighs but I do not like grilling in strong winds. Made some progress yesterday around here. It was "requested" that I get to work on some unclaimed monies in California for Heather's late parents that showed up this year and siblings found out about. California's website has for this has been down while they completely redo it. But now it is up. At least the process is a lot easier and I have all the documentation scanned from several years ago. Found a little in our name as well, just enough to make it worth our while.

Piano Class this morning. I talked to our old teacher yesterday; he’s still in the rehab facility, after nearly 9 months. Hopes to eventually be walking again. Sounds good otherwise and I hope to visit him sometime.

Went for a short walk at the Purgatory chasm, state park yesterday, but didn’t climb down into the chasm. It had gotten a lot warmer than I had dressed for and I didn’t want to risk getting overheated. DGD‘s volleyball match went OK although they lost all three games. Some of the girls are so small they look as if they would get knocked over if the ball ever hit them.

Didn’t get to walk this morning. Might wet the canoe a bit this afternoon.

Onward and upward. I seem to have gained a pound despite tracking for a week.
