    TGIF! Up way too late watching the foolsball (points if anyone catches that movie reference).

    Hot - 90+ expected here today. Storm raging in the ATL, ready to destroy more East Coastline over next week. Fingers crossed it pushes out.

    Any baby news?

    TGIF. woot. Fish fry fundraiser tonight at Just Friends Adult Day Services. Excellent organization here in town. Other than that, pretty easy weekend.

    Congrats to the Ring family.

    It's 43 in Tumwater this morning, heading for a high of 75. Nice fall weather. Wish I felt well enough to enjoy it. I'll just lie around feeling sorry for myself. Rita did make me a pot of arroz caldo last night. Philippine chicken and rice soup with ginger. Best thing ever for a cold.

    Elsie was my grandmother's name, so I'm a bit biased. My niece was named Elisa after her.

    I was in College Station for a donor event last night. Didn't get home and in bed until about 1AM. But that doesn't change the middle of the night whizzing routine, of course.

    Hooray for new granddaughters.

    Ron's dental appointment showed an infection in his tooth with the root canal he had repaired in Peru last spring. He knew there was an issue. Walked next door for an immediate CT scan ($90) follow up next week. Yikes.

    Today we are going to a tequila tasting fundraiser with some nomad friends. Might go for a hike soon But it will be a short one...want to be home and have a chance to cool off, eat lunch etc before we walk to town to meet them at 2.
