@jguldi11 Yes, if you report exercise I have an exercise to step conversion and that gets counted. So please add that for any intentional exercise you do!

Sorry late again.
I'm battling some major gynecological issues which has left me severely anemic and with hardly any energy. All on the back of a house move so I'm pretty exhausted. Sorry I've been very quiet on here - just surviving ATM.

It's SO good to have Brad home. He and I had a lovely breakfast together and then did a one hour hike. We live in a very beautiful place that has a lake and mountains (now, much smaller mountains that the Rockies.. but still considered mountains). So today we did an urban hike at one of the mountains in town. It is still quite hot here so we limited our time out there but it was great fun. We also met a woman at a cheese shop who was new here years ago and she gave us some good tips on ways to meet people as I've never started over in a new city and I have no friends! I am working on a few things to change that though.

Yesterday and today I logged everything I ate, I had lost my logging motivation so I'm trying to get it back. It's one of my bingo goals which has been helpful in getting me to do the things I need to do. Speaking of bingo, I was able to get 2 more today after completing some tasks 😁
It was a good mixture of a Saturday between being productive and relaxing. I steam cleaned the furniture, cleaned the kitchen, started to prep to make applesauce, got caught up on progress notes and treatment plans, took a long bath, read a couple chapters in a book, napped, and completed a 45 minute strength training workout. In addition to caring for and playing with the kids + cleaning their toys up several times. Wow when I type it all out I see that I really did a lot.
Sunday I will be making and canning homemade applesauce, I use stevia instead of added sugar and lots of cinnamon for flavor a glucose regulation. My parents picked the apples on their property up north and gave me a bunch. I might make zucchini bread too, I have a giant zucchini that needs to be eaten soon.
I also need to meal plan for the week and do laundry, maybe some other projects but if I get those things done I'll feel accomplished.

Brunch date with 3 others for hubby and I (12:15p ressie), and dinner/game night at daughter's, with niece, later tonight. Currently watching Fareed Zakaria (weird, bc I haven't watched cable news since the election! I think I like ot watching better ;-) .)
I always liked Fareed's show tho. Good interviews.

We made it back from the beach and now I am unpacking and doing laundry. Will also be getting ready to go back to work tomorrow. I sometimes take the day off after a vacation, but didn't do that this time. I will really need to get back on track with eating. I didn't track a single thing on vacation and while I feel like I didn't eat a lot some meals, some of the things were calorie dense! Getting on the scale tomorrow morning will be an eye opener!

@lauren_989 wow that picture of the beach is beautiful! I hope your first day back at work goes smoothly, it can be so hard transitioning back into work mode after a vacation.
@mkksemail it sounds like you had some fun things planned!
I had all sorts of plans for yesterday but only accomplished 1 project, but I'm ok with that. I did still log all my food though!
I had more apples than I thought, and my apple slicer/corer broke after the 3rd apple so I had to do the rest with a knife and vegetable peeler. All in all it took 8 hours to make the applesauce and can it. I ended up with 16.5 pints which I'm pretty excited about, it should last us a while. I used stevia to sweeten it and added cinnamon of course 😋
Some jars have tinted glass so they look darker than the rest.
