Steph, did Ron get that root canal in Mexico? Hope the infection goes away soon,. He has to be miserable. The dog kennels do sound nice, as dog kennels go. Are you wanting to get a dog?
Celebrating gary's brother's birthday tonight at Chili's. Surprisingly, it's very good here in town. You can't count on much being that good here in town either.

Got to sleep in a little; we don't have to be at airport until 1030.
Tryn'a catch up on work. Tucker insists on his head in my lap (he saw me packing) while I am trying to get some keyboard time.
Gloomy/rainy here. Ugh.
Plans for a "un"official retirement soiree underway. Officially, I am retired from Govt effective October 4th. Alas, with the "…just mail your computers, phone, and ID card in" - there was no fanfare or thank you's for 36 years. DW has arranged a helluva soiree at a favorite spot for the weekend of the Oct 10th. Should be fun.

- I got my flu shot yesterday and of course; I fight like I had the flu last night. Better this morning.
- You can't wear earbuds with the hearing aids Kelly, but you don't need them. You can stream directly to the hearing aids.
- Let's hope Ron gets everything resolved.
- Lunch with some neighborhood guys this afternoon.

Morning all
Yes original root canal was in mexico about 4 years ago. It fell out last spring in Peru and he had it repared there. Now they are pulling the tooth and going to rebuild the bone. He can do an implant later if he chooses. Sigh.
Today he has a massage and I'm going to try to get my nails done if they have an opening. If not I'll go to a coffee shop. This afternoon we are looking at a rental house and then meeting several other nomads for an early happy hour.

Charlotte still in hospital, gained 4 tenths of ounce yesterday, still not eating on her own.
DW is down to only 22 more radiation treatments.
Need to check in on DMIL today.
Pablo kicks his crate while sleeping which never seems to wake him but does us.
Starting to look for new mattress and frame, ours is 15 years old; any suggestions place we purchased current mattress from is now a gasser shop.

I still can't shake the congestion and cough from this cold, though I feel much better otherwise.
Fun time watching the Mariners last night, with Cal Raleigh's 59th and 60th and the team clinching AL West. One more win and they clinch a bye and trip to ALDS.

Cal Raleigh is an amazing ballplayer and apparently a nice guy. Historically a bye is not always a good thing for a team.
