I did a 15k race on Sunday and had a blast! The marathon (my first!) is coming up next Sunday 10/5!

sigh, I did try to track as much as I could. Some days I’m super hungry. But I also did workout a bit more. I’m proud to say today would be the last day of the ab challenge. Going to try more challenges. My cousins wedding is next month and I want to look and feel good!1 -
@cedarfoxy - oooooh! How do you feel after the 15k?
@JenSamuel94 - sometimes we do everything right and our bodies just hold onto water when we don't want them to, and it's so frustrating. Have you noticed any changes over the past couple weeks? Do you feel any different?

What's your hardest food craving to combat?
@minstrelofsarcasm Do I have to pick just one? 😅
I think my real weakness is cookies. But sweet or carby things in general like chocolate, pastries, or bread. I don't think specific foods are the issue because I can say no if I'm really not feeling it, and I don't feel guilty eating them, but I struggle with the emotional eating or social aspect.
I do love tea too, so I often have tea as a nice thing to keep my hands and mouth busy.

I started a new job yesterday. I left childcare after 25 years and I am being a care giver right now until I can find an office job. I have one client for 40 hours a week. I eat with her and she doesn’t eat much so I find I don’t eat much. She loves to walk. With my back still bothering me some it was tough but I didn’t want to stop her. We went on an hour walk and then another 30 minute walk in the afternoon. Hoping 4 days a week of this will help with the weight loss. I haven’t really gotten over 10,000 steps in a long time but I didn’t today.

Another 2.4 pounds down! 8 pounds in 3 weeks. I haven't lost like that in 5 years!
Also when I went to put my progress weight into mfp, normally it shows my most recent weigh ins to oldest. But today it showed oldest at the top(from 2014 lol) So I had to scroll way down to see last week's weight. Is anyone else having that problem?

Another week of the same weight again, it is very weird. But I will take this no gain as a win as life as been stressful and I haven't been the best with my food choices.

I def feel less bloated. I lost about .5 inch around my waist, I looked at my thighs and surprised to lose about 1.5 inches! So I’m still proud of myself!

Hi I’m new to the group. My name is Vicky. I was a part of a group like this a few years back. not sure if it’s the same or not, but looking forward to being part of the team.
I’ve struggled the last few years losing. I thought it was from perimenopause, after all I am now in my early 50s, but I found out earlier this year I also have hashimotos. Makes it very difficult to lose. But I have been working out with weights semi consistently this past year. And am trying to incorporate more walks and even a few jogs in. I used to run 5-6 days a week. So I’m hoping to eventually get back into that.
