Kristi, that is so interesting to know! I do use protein powder (Orgain), but I think (after losing my eyeballs in data over the weekend, heh) that I have my protein goal set far too low. Do you space it out? Like, I remember hearing that you shouldn't ingest more than 30g or so of protein in a 2 hr period. Is that a thing?

Wooohoooo! Replacement Fitbit arrived today. I had a Sense before, didn't want the Sense 2 (Google kinda wrecked the model), and didn't want to move to a Pixel Watch, at least not on a dime, bc I was sans-watch, and needed one, so I downgraded to an Charge 6. At least I'll get a sleep score tonight :D. Yay!
And steps tomorrow! woohooo!

OMG!!!
just! got the new Fitbit updated and on my arm, and hubby knocked into my Fitbit Sense that has been on the charger since Wed am - and the stupid thing turned on, and what's more, it has a 100% charge!! I literally just checked it a few hours ago and the thing was still a brick 😡

Glad it's the weekend! My hubby and I have a couples massage tomorrow. We are also planning to get outside. We did a hike on Monday to scope out some potential bonsai tree projects to collect from the forest. We found two we like so we'll have to go dig them up this weekend. Food has been on target and workouts have all been checked off the list.

@conleywoods wow you're doing great! A friend of mine recently told me about protein coffee and I have to say I'm intrigued. Currently my protein goal is 30% and I have a hard time meeting that most days. Great job going for 40%.
Finally no headache today, yay! The kids and I played tag in the backyard and then I took them for a walk, it was a beautiful sunny day. I've been doing better at tracking my food again, I've made it 8 days so far.
I ended up changing 2 of my bingo tasks and now I have almost my whole card full!
Tomorrow I head to Traverse City MI with my mom, grandma, and sisters for an overnight trip. We usually go for an annual overnight trip somewhere in the state but I haven't gone the last couple of years due to being pregnant and then having a baby. Now that the kids are older I feel more comfortable leaving them with my husband for a night. He's a trooper haha. We have a walking tour of the old asylum scheduled so I know I'll meet my step goal tomorrow, which is good because I have a feeling I'll be eating some extra calories.

I am learning how important the protein is too. Like you, Jackie, I often had a hard time meeting MFP macro goal. As I’ve been aware of adding more, I have been able to lose a bit more, although at 61 it’s slow. But still I like it moving downward better than up. We have tried protein powder. It’s not bad when I use it in a smoothie. It DEFINITELY satiates hunger though. A few nuts and I’m good.
Jackie have a great get away. Kristi, I am so intrigued by your Bonsai adventure. Please share your pick. MK have a great week in NY. Sounds like a blast. Ashley enjoy getting outside. And thanks for that step report. I had no idea.

Happy Saturday, WaistAways! I'll def check-in during the week (so looking forward to it!), but I won't have a scale. I'll just have to be super diligent and honest in my choices, so hopefully it's not a shitshow of a disaster when I get back home :p.
Greek Festival on Sunday afternoon, tho! And pizza night to pair with hot tub soaking for Sunday night! And I know there will be bagels …. (have to have pizza and bagel every time I go home heh). Okay, it'll be good. Promise! Xx
