Busy day here. Headed out to my sister's this afternoon to help her out. Her husband goes for surgery on his leg on the 15th to see if they can expand the artery so he doesn't have to lose that leg too.

Morning BBB
Our rental car gets dropped of this morning. Then we are picking up some friends to do a day trip to the mountains. They are petsitting so will be home by late afternoon.
I should also start to pack. We get keys to new place on Wednesday but have current place rented until Friday. Ron is getting his tooth pulled and bone rebuilt on Thurs near here so likely will spend Thursday night here, where we have AC.
Yesterday We stopped by the pet store/vet that has all the kittens. They encourage you to stop in and help socialize them. About 30. All well behaved but most pretty timid. It's right across from our Spanish lessons so we will make an effort to go again.

Charlotte has been moved out of neonatal into a stepdown unit. This morning her weight is 5 lbs. 10.3 oz.

Yes. The house we are moving to starting tomorrow doesn't have AC. Most here don't. It's really not that hot. Average is probably 75 this time of year. A little hotter in the direct sunlight. We should have great breezes up on the side of the mountain. Gets to 60 or so overnight. It will only continue to get cooler as the rainy season ends. We run the one here overnight in the bedroom and occasionally in the living room. We have a great breeze and wouldn't need it but the nearby highway noise makes us keep the front door closed.
The one we are thinking about for next year also has no AC. The agent has asked the homeowners to install a split at least in the master. We will probably sign a 9 month lease if they agree. April-December. The homeowners are from France and usually only come for winter when it's not needed at all.
