Good morning!
Frankie survived her ordeal yesterday at Banfield. Because it was an unscheduled appointment, it was a drop-off. She was there for five hours. They got the string out and got her nails trimmed. The nails were not cracked, but they "flake" if they get too long, and the string was caught in that. She is doing better now.
Sam, Connie and I use Miracle Ear. Very expensive, but they clean at no cost, and we have been happy at how they work. By very expensive, Connie's new set cost $7,000. We are paying interest free over 24 months. Sort of like a car. Sigh….
I'm not totally sure what is on tap for today. It won't be outside as we are expecting 90 again today. At least it is cooling off more quickly in the evening. Monday, it is all supposed to change, and we will get the promised fall weather. I'm getting concerned at this point that we are going to go straight from summer to winter.
Bill, I pray that you get some answers to your stomach and prostate concerns. I am glad to hear, however, that you are feeling better than you have been.
Prayers continue for the Ring family.
Have a great day!

Good morning gentlemen.
Residual cough kept me home from choir last night. This thing just keeps dragging on.
We don't turn the furnace on in the fall or off in the spring. The thermostat is automatic. If it gets too cool the heat comes on, too hot and the AC kicks in. It's set for 60 at night and 70 during the day. It's running right now.
I like the cost of my hearing aids from the VA.

Good Morning
We have room electric wall heaters with individual thermostats. They are starting to kick on every so often. But we generally layer up or use a throw. Blood work was pretty straight forward. Afterward I visited the ocean and river a bit and then picked up a latte for Heather and decided to try a small coffee after almost 2 weeks. Not quite ready for my daily cup yet. I had my first Dulcimer Festival workshop at 6am this morning which was excellent and another at 8:15 and so on. Since I signed up for the 6 week group class I have started making progress again. I am mostly focusing on technique and some theory and it is working a bit. Practicing regularly probably helps! Rain has wrapped up for several days, just cool and a little damp. Rather lovely out there. I will sneak out during a midday break for errands.

Well turned on the heat for a bit this a.m. It was either that or finding myself out in the cold in the "dog house". haha. 90degrees?? in my dreams. Our showers seem to be pretty much over for awhile. 4 days w a bit of measurable showers but really not much more than a trace yesterday.
Sending best Ts and Ps for Sam, Joanne, DMIL and Charlotte.
