Good morning!
That's great news about Charlotte! Prayers continue for Joanne.
Frankie got me up a little after 6:00 this morning. I have already run 2 miles on the treadmill, and now I'm ready for Sunday rest day. Online church at 9:30.
Have a great day!

Good Morning,
Pablo has had his walk, a sleep on sofa now.
Went to Emmaus candlelight last night, will attend Emmaus closing this afternoon.

Mornin' gents.
Bill, I used some dill with the lox and eggs. Fresh scallions would have been really good too.
Yay for Charlotte!
Hate this showing the house stuff. Photo shoot next Sunday. Gotta sanitize the house of all personal items. I have a lotta memorabilia hanging around. Ugh.
Spaghetti squash must be in season. Actually found it at a road side stand and at Aldi's.
Onward and downward ;-)

Mornin' men. Got back from the north woods around 8 last night, showered and then slept for 11 hours. Will catch up on week's postings later. We had sunny days and some chilly star filled nights including frost one morning. Gorgeous fall foliage, paddled the river all up and down. Driving over the rough dirt roads on Wednesday to check out a river tributary, I clipped a protruding rock with my tailpipe and broke it off the muffler. No cell service, 20 miles from a town and 4 mi. from our campsite, I tied it up with a wire flyswatter handle in my canoe bag. Saw some deer, other campers saw a bear, and every morning lots of beavers in the river. First day a busload of kids showed up for a field trip collecting dragon fly larvae, but otherwise unbelievable silence there most days, with only a few other people camping, or none at all.
Church this morning, then unpacking the ton of gear in my car.
Have a great day…
Oh, I lost 4 pounds since Monday. Woot!

Sounds like a great outdoor adventure Mike!
Glad to hear Charlotte is a real fighter and will be home soon!!!
slept in this a.m. so will do wetland trails biking later.
We made packages of a meal for "Rise Against Hunger" yesterday. Four of us at each station putting in dried veggies nutritional supplements, Rice and I think a TVP mix. We made over 20,000 meals in about 2 hours REALLY over 20,000. We had 10 tables to fill the packages and then a bunch of folks as couriers to the sealing tables. We had 70 volunteers. 20,000 packets divided by 10 tables means our table of four in the assembly lines did over 2,000. My mind is still spinning. We did this in the church gymnasium.
cheers

Good Morning
Mike, that picture from the canoe says it all. Glad you had a good trip, well worth a tail pipe and or muffler.
Great news on Charlotte. What an exciting day that will be! Glad to hear Joanne is on the backside of her radiation treatments. Once I got down to 10 to go it began not to feel so endless.
Speaking of cancer, my latest PSA test showed a nice drop after it shot up last summer and spurred another request for a PET scan by my oncologist. We will see what the Doc says on Thursday. As I write this I am watching/listening to first of the two Sunday online concerts of the festival. So I will be staying put today, getting some laundry done, some music played and work on my noviate stuff for Wednesday's chat. Cool but beautiful day out there but I got get caught up things.
