    Good morning!

It was a fun football game to watch, but the Chiefs disappointed last night. Happy birthday Trevor Lawrence. Sheesh!

We have to large cracks in the ceiling in two different spots in the house from the house settling. I put up plastic and got started on them yesterday. The one in the living room is on a sloped ceiling, and starts about 10ft up. I cut on the cracks to relieve the pressure at the crack. Today will be the first round of mudding and taping. I will be so glad when this is finished. Connie has been bugging me about this, and she didn't really give me a break from the bathroom to this.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers for my DBIL.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

    Pace yourself, Steve.

I took a fall while walking Sassy, yesterday; tripped while looking up at some guys cutting down a large tree. Landed on my face. Ended up with 4 1/2 hours in the ER. No brain issues, but a broken nose. I also hurt my right wrist and my left shoulder. I am trying to get into my regular clinic today to have those checked out. Just when I finally felt like I was over that cold. Anyway, a slight crook in my nose will add character to my face, right?

    Good Morning

Glad you are OK Dave besides the nose.

Still sniffling along but enjoying having energy and getting things done. Yesterday was a strange weather day as temps shot up to 80+. It might have been the hottest/driest day of the year. Cools off 10 degrees today and 10 more after that. Heather flies to Minnesota to visit her sister this morning so it will be a Eugene shopping day after taking her to the airport. I am setting some goals for the coming week besides music and my studies around house stuff and exercise to keep making progress.

yeah do be careful Steve as Dave says. So sorry about his trip/fall and a broken nose in the ER. Hope Dave's wrist and shoulder are ok.

Wow indeed Bill! I saw that Florence shot up to about 80-81deg yesterday. Hotter than us in Portland.

The Seahawk game Sunday was exciting albeit not the outcome Dave and I wanted.

    Get better everybody!!

Dave, how can you hike a dozen miles, thousands of feet up and back, and then hurt yourself falling just walking the dog? Jeesh. (Seriously, I Hope everything heals quickly. )

Did Bible study this morning. Unfortunately they had a birthday cake for the woman who turned 90 today, and her daughter brought homemade icecream. I had a slice and a scoop, which was my breakfast.

Dropped my car at the mechanic on the way back to get the tailpipe and muffler fixed. They luckily had an open time slot.

Another nice sunny day but tomorrow we get chilly and rainy for a few days.

Need to dig in and get gear unpacked and cleaned and put away. Haven’t tracked food since I started camping a week ago. Time to start up again.

Charlotte came home today and is doing great.

Joanne only has 13 radiation treatments left.

So sorry about DBIL Steve, pray they caught it in time,

Guys at our age we do not heal as fast as we use to.

One more warm day then we drop to 50's for lows and 70's for highs
