Dave,
Please increase me to 10 miles. I will increase it in 5 mile increments. I had a CT scan and Doppler today to see to compare my scans from the hospital. The dopler showed no active bleeding or blood clots and two large hematoma..the one in my calf and the monster on my thigh. The doctor there said I need to get this drained or it is going to wreak havoc on my veins in my thigh. I got a rush appointment to see a vascular surgeon on Monday afternoon. I am praying he will set me up to have this drained to relieve pressure.

@CLEPANT - I’ve adjusted your goal to 10. That’s great that you’re moving more than you thought you might! I hope you’re able to get the hematomas dealt with quickly! 🙏🏼Dave

Thanks Dave. I found out yesterday that I now have a fractured patella. Non-displaced, so it does not need operated on. No memory of how or what was hit or what hit me such as car, leaf blower or fence post. It’s a good thing. I see vascular and ortho on Monday.

I hope all my injured friends are continuing to heal. Patience is a virtue!
I've walked all over Italy for the last week and I'm exhausted. It was a really special trip with my two sons. I can't say I'm exactly looking forward to going home, but I am looking forward to taking things at a slower pace. Wish us luck getting home. There is a big storm predicted for New York tomorrow around the time we are hoping to land.

And I'm home. What a unique flight we had. The pilot was retiring after 38 years and he had 30 of his friends and family along for his final flight. In spite of the strong winds and rain he put the plane down like there was nothing to it. I'm very happy for that!

Janet what a special flight home. Glad you had a smooth landing.
Yikes! I am so swollen today from all the walking to and from appointments. Saw a vascular surgeon today and I am getting my hematoma possible Sedona aspirated or a drain put in tomorrow morning. He figured I have at least 6 or more pounds of fluid on my left leg. If the procedure does not work, I will be going to dermotology. He did say my hump ranks up there as one of the largest he has ever seen.

well I had Hermie Hematoma now officially Sally Seroma drained this morning. They said I dr. took off 3.85 pounds of fluid from my thigh and said it would have never self absorbed. I have to wear compression wraps for 2weks to keep it from refilling. lt has already been so relieving.
I spared the nudity one. Last night and after wrapped from surgery.

@clepant I am so glad you are recovering and I know the relief of having that hematoma drained. Keep up the great spirits and move only as much as the body dictates, don't over do. Hugs to you!
