    Long day yesterday.

    Today is going to be long and my "retirement…Beers & Cheers" party is tonight. We had about 75 RSVPs so should be fun!

    Ready for 3 day weekend and pictures of new puppies on Monday (we hope).

    SGM - hope the recovery continues to yield positive outcome.

    • It was a tough way for the Phillies to lose last night, and the Cubs push a game 5 against Mary's Brewers.

    Today is dog walking day.

    A piece fell out of Ron's tooth socket last night, so back to the dentist, hopefully today. Man has he had bad luck with that tooth.

    Good morning BBB friends.

    The ENT resident (it is a teaching hospital) looked my nose over and everything was fine, except for the bones being a bit out of alignment. He offered to "pop" it back into place. I declined. His attending physician came in and once again offered to straighten it out. When I declined again, they both looked disappointed. I think they were looking forward to a teaching moment. Putting it back would involve breaking the healing that has already taken place. It barely hurts, now. No need to reverse the progress. There are a barely noticeable bump and bend, just a bit of added character.

    Mariners are home for the deciding game of their series. They face the Tigers' ace, but they have already beaten him three times this year. Fingers are crossed.

    Good morning.

    Big donor event is wrapping up and I'll be home sometime this afternoon. All I want is a nap after closing the bar two nights in a row. In other words, I need a nap.
