'Twas a great great night with me friends/family and coworkers. About 70 in attendance. Old bosses. Fine food. Lots of libations and toasts.
The firehouse guys I used to work with were busy. Sadly, one of Andrews AFB young (E4) firefighters took his own life yesterday. No warning signs. So very sad.
Up early to drop off Tucker and then a visit with my ENT. Left nostril is still giving me a fit. Congrats to your Mariners, SGM! Helluva game…..

The Mariners' epic win last night is the sort of thing that keeps me loving sports. Going to be tough to be ready to play at Toronto tomorrow, though.
We have the grandkids again this weekend, so we'll have a full day. Hope I can squeeze in watching my Ducks play the Hoosiers.

Was that a Lisa sighting yesterday?For back from Fort Worth yesterday afternoon just in time to wash my face and head over to Central Market for a beer and spinach artichoke dip while listening to salsa music.
The food at the donor event over the 3 days was really good - and I ate my desserts at every meal. I was also, per usual, the late night host for our guests, so average bedtime was 1AM. I'm going to have to put my liver in timeout for a while now.0 -

I've Been doing terrible at tracking the last few days. Back at it today. And going to post track yesterday. Why do I do this...tracking works.
Ron made a new best friend at the pet rescue. Her name is Megan. She is a doll but occasionally gets aggressive with other dogs so hasn't been adopted in 2+ years. She lives with her sister who likes people way less.
Today we may go to town for the art market. It's in centro so should also just walk around and visit the shops.
I think we have committed to an rental here for next year, April-Dec. They are installing a mini split ac in the bedroom which was our main concern. For just over $2000/month we will get a 3 bedroom place with a car, community pool and tennis court. It's in a very walkable location. We plan to use as a home base and explore Mexico. Our plan is to take week long trips once a month and get to some places we don't plan to visit for longer.

I caught a good cold, so going to take a ride for some coldmeds. Yard work on tap for ds1 and dh ... pines needles have shed everywhere, thick! . Its a brisk a.m. sunny 45F., but woke at 6a to 39. High by 2pm is 66F. Boat is coming out then, and getting put away for winter.
We will catch the Brewers game at the Lake Lodge later.
Good to have a Lisa drive by!
