    Busy day ahead with house hold chores, taking Babe out for a quick hunt, cook out this afternoon, then drinks with friends this evening.

    Congrats on the offer Lee! Im sure the bonus $ will assist in your moving expenses!!! Those pups are so cute!

    So glad we got all the leaves picked up and gardens cleaned out again yesterday. Awoke to the forecasted small dusting of snow 30F this morning.

    Spending this afternoon by our Grandgirls 2.75yr and 4mo., an hour drive away. Haven't seen them much with being at lake most weekends. We will have the older one with us for our 2nd annual Christmas Parade with supper here there after next Sat. Her parents, dd and dsil need to clear out his parents house next weekend to list by 12/1. Im hoping seeing her at her house today will make her a bit more comfortable 1st time with us alone without her parents. We go pick her up Sat a.m. They'll come to us for dinner to get her.

    I need to go dig out my winter gloves and fleece. Blah

    • Shopping for the Methodist Men's breakfast this afternoon and then up way too early tomorrow.

    Morning gang

    We are staying 4 days in Covington LA on the north shore of lake pontchartrain. We've been checking out the nearby towns and have spent 2 afternoons at the Abita brewery. Yesterday got flu and covid vaccine. Just over $1000 without us health insurance.

    Today there is live music a a vineyard north of here and need to stop at Wal-Mart To get dr bronners soap...walgreens no longer carries.

    Our cruise to Chile leaves a week from Monday.

    Congra5s on the over asking home sale.

    Glad one real estate contract is signed. Now need one to come through for Skip.

    Looking at near record high temperature today. Forecast is for 63 and the record for the date is 65.

    Cold front has moved in and now we have to take wind direction into account for whatever we do for lunch today. Will need to make salads for the week at some point, but the refrigerator needs to be reorganized first. Try not to envy my super busy day.

    Dennis, I hope Jim done a good job this morning.

    Tried getting some leaves up, thirty minutes later there were more than before.

    DW went to church with me this morning, believe she only has 3 appointments this week.

    Real estate is very slow around here, some cutting prices still not moving, finally attracting investors, they would be better off waiting till spring.

    $1,000.00 for 4 vaccines is a total ripoff when Medicare/insurance pays about $62 per vaccine.
