    Good morning!

I am going to try to get some things done today, but my arthritis is still really flaring up. We are going to start warming up again after today, and maybe that will help.

My counselor suggested a new therapy for me to to try. She wants me to paint. I'm trying a paint by number kit, and it really is calming. I'm thinking this is going to be a very good hobby for me.

    Have a great day!

Thick fog and 50º this Monday morning. Was going to go out first thing for a walk, but foggy rush-hour roads not safe around here, nor hiking in fog during hunting season. Bit of a drive, but might try the Audubon sanctuary, large area of farm & forest with no hunting allowed.

    Onward and downward…

    Good morning gentlemen.

My sister is driving up from Salem, to visit her stepdaughter in Tacoma. She is going to stop here for lunch. I look forward to seeing her. It's been quite a while.

Steve, I think doing anything creative is good for mental health. I know my wood turnings are therapeutic for me.

    Good Morning

Steve, I agree that a creative outlet can be great therapy. Paint by number should offer enough structure to start for you to detach and be absorbed in the process. Good call!

I joined Heather on her beach wandering yesterday. I haven't been in a while. But the sand has shifted and the winter beach is easier to walk on. A gray almost windless day was perfect. The storms have washed lots of treasures on the beach so we collected a few things to start a new collection plate. I went as far as I dared and found a tree trunk to sit on for a bit while she continued. We stopped my my friend River on the way home and walked and enjoyed the stillness. We both pledged to get out into the yard today which keep not doing. It will depend on the chance of midday rain. Working on wet woodchips is no fun.

    Good Morning,

Cold here with wind gust, should be colder tomorrow. Arthur does not like damp and 20's.

Taking DW for mammogram and x-rays today.

Hope Lee's house deal holds up. My DDIL had buyer folks back out 2 days from closing which was a huge problem as all her elderly parents things were packed up in a van etc and now they couldn't afford to move into there new place themselves. Eventually it got sorted out but cost big bucks they didn't really have. Yeah the buyers lost a piddly 2500 to 3000 dollars of earnest money but that didn't begin to cover the losses. SHeesh.

Ah Steve painting by the numbers. l Hope the arthritis calms down.

Good luck w Mammogram and x-rays for Joanne, Sam.

Finding stuff on the beach is fun Bill. One morning I found not one but two Japanese fishing floats wayyy back in the early 1970s.

    Cheers.
