Ah, just read your response to my question about shooting the gaps. Weeee! Yeah, but watch out for the rocks.

Well, if this buyer backs out, we have other offers. But I don't think these people will. They were born and bred nearby and have family in the area.

My sister, is 75 today. Sadly, she is not as in good a shape as Bob. She has to use a walker to get around her apartment.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning!

Today is Veteran's Day. A day of remembrance. A very sincere and heartfelt thank you to all of you who answered the call and served our country. Your service is appreciated.

I'm not sure what is going on today yet. I have some housecleaning to do, and it is supposed to be a little warmer outside. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70s.

    Have a great day!

I think the town has a parade today. We're big on parades—two on the 4th of July, one regular and one with little kids' tricycles and doll carriages. Flags went up all along the main streets light poles a few days ago. Had an uncle in the navy back in WW I, another in Battle of the Bulge WW II, an uncle who got kicked out of every branch of the service and spent time in the brig, and my late brother was in the navy in the late 50's. Also a cousin who fought in Viet Nam, re-enlisted twice and got killed there.

30º and feels like 19º. High will be 33º. Brrrrr. Only got out for a short walk yesterday; will bundle up and plan on a few hours of hiking today.

DSIL, my eldest DD's hubby, got a cardiac ablation yesterday. Had afib and nothing else they tried seemed to help. Last I heard he was back in normal sinus rhythm.

    Onward and downward.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Happy Veterans Day to you all, and especially to my fellow veterans.

Nice visit with my sister yesterday, then Rita and I worked to sort out all the stuff to sell at the holiday bazaar on Saturday. Rita found some small pieces I neglected to sign, so that will be task No. 1 for this morning.

    Good Morning

Happy Veterans Day. I am grateful thanks to those of you who served our country at the ready in war and peace. We have a parade here which we will head down to. Its our first year here. Lots of vets in this town. We will be off to our weekly Tuesday movie in the evening. At some point we will walk as well. I restarted weight loss mode yesterday with tracking, measuring and thinking. I planned to just maintain for 1 month but it ended up being 2, but I did maintain my weight and want one more push before Christmas. Not much of a change needed, just being more aware of what I am eating, how much I am eating and the what the numbers look like at the end of the day so I can adjust course as needed. I find taking a periodic break and maintaining for a bit keeps my head in the game a bit better.

Yes my heart goes out to all the Veterans today. Chin up my friends!!

Glad the ablation seems to have worked for your dear son-in-law Mike.

Good luck with the Holiday Bazaar Dave. Your work is masterful!

Yea w some of my injuries they had me in a walker for about two seconds or using walking poles. I actually do like hiking poles for steep up and down terrain but not on my usual haunts.

I hear ya Bill I do want to lose ideally up to 10 pounds but seem stuck on being about two pounds above my goal weight which is at the upper end of my range anyway. So wanting to be more in the 158lb to 162 lb but am today at 168 lb. Gotta be more at task. At least getting through all the various celebrations should help.

    cheers….onward and downward

    Good Afternoon,

Looks as you have lots for upcoming sale Dave, beautiful.

I would like to lose some but what works for me does not work for DW, right now getting her healthier is our main concern. Still waiting to hear from her scan yesterday.

Happy Birthday to Lee's sister. As I'm in my 70's seventy-five does not seem old.

Had carried DW to Athens for an appointment this morning, we both forget to pick up her prescription at UCBC.

Continues cold today but in a couple of days will be back to lows in 50's and highs in 70's.
