Contract ratified and we are, fingers crossed, scheduled to close on 12/23. Buyers requested to come by today and bring their kids/grandkids that live nearby to tour the property and look at our home once again. I prepared a nice binder of all the mechanicals and systems along with "how-to" to reprogram locks; cameras; lighting; HVAC controls etc.
In the event we cannot rent back, we found a Hilton Garden Inn about 5 miles from here that will work in the interim. Pet friendly, mini kitchen, 2 bathrooms, separate sitting/bedrooms. Hoping rent back is approved for a couple months.
Finished Season One of Landman. Still don't think it was better than Yellowstone.

The bazaar went very well. We beat our record for sales - and I got to spend a lot of time talking to people about woodturning.
Staying home from church, today. We have a lot to do before we leave for Las Vegas tomorrow.

Busy morning meeting potential puppy buyer, a lady veterinarian that just lost her springer. Hope to do a little hunting this afternoon before coming home to cook for the week.
Booming thunder last night with the strikes being pretty close. Thankfully we did not lose power.

9 days until we leave for our trip, so at some point I'm going to get dragged shopping for all the things that we suddenly can't go without.

You know the ladies have to have proper clothing for a trip; someone's third cousin could have seen them in what they have. I'm thankful DW hates to shop.

- I've been to Austin, and I've been to MN, but I've never been to Austin, MN. But now that I know the Spam Museum is there, I have a reason to go.
- Preparing for a trip. We are actively avoiding any preparation to ensure maximum stress at the last moment. 😒

Im trying to give away free, the treadmill I got for $25 five years ago. I need the room. I need the exercise more. But I just don't use it!
We had a wonderful Sat with the bigs and littles kicking off the start to the holidays! Starting new traditions! My dgs said his fav part of parade was all the fire trucks!
I started to sort through tubs in the basement today. Clutter clean out! I got a toss, donate, keep area set up. I dumped a lot of stuff before moving in here 9yrs ago. Now its piling up a bit again, uugghh. Im going through seasonal decor items, checking lights too and dug out an outdoor wreath for dh's shed, that he outlined with leds. Its bright, but looks great! We will decorate the front of house bit by bit. It's early, but weather is ideal this week.

Im the hi ho hi ho its off to Grammys house we go....And I love having everyone here to make memories with our grandkids!
Landman is on here now, but Im not all that interested. I may watch the American Revolution on PBS at 7p?
