Good morning!
We finally have the promise of rain today and tomorrow. Unfortunately, I don't have my yard taken care of, so that might have to wait until the weekend or next week. The rain was supposed to start after 6:00 tonight, but leading edges of it are here now, making it too wet to mulch the leaves.
Collin starts a new job today working at a local grocery store. He has not worked since May. I have not talked about that much as I already have enough on my plate. I am happy for him, and I think that this will be more the kind of work that is suited for him as opposed to the warehouse/factory work. Well check that. He just came out announcing that he has fever and chills. Heavy sigh…..
If yard work is out today, then I will pivot and do inside work part of the day, and self-care part of the day. I have a new painting to start.
Have a great day!

(((Connie))) I would be going out of my mind, Steve. I sure hope she see the cardiologist sooner rather than later.
Bill, interesting that you picked him. We call him Polka because he has lots of big spots. He is definitely a front runner for my pick. Dana sent me a video of him retrieving to hand on the day the litter turned 5 weeks old. It was impressive.
Dave, I'm trying very hard to put these pups into hunting homes, but I would make an exception for Sassy.
Good luck with eye surgery, Bob.
Finally finished pheasant split pea soup I made on Sunday. My gut is singing hallelujah.
Onward and downward ;-)

This is a small practice painting that I did. It is a $4 kit that I ordered off Amazon. It used cheap canvas and cheap paints so there is only so much that can be done with it, but it was great practice. Now I'm getting ready to start a much larger, higher quality painting. That one might take weeks to months. I find the painting to be very relaxing.

Wow. That is rough about Collin.

Somehow I missed the photo of your painting. Pretty good for a $4 kit!

good morning gentlemen.
Typing on my phone from Las Vegas. We have been doing our best to contribute to the local economy. We’re both down, but still well within our budget. It is nice to just loaf and relax in the morning.0 -
Good Morning
Prayers up for Bob this morning and the Henry family. There is too much going on there.
We had a good day in Eugene/Springfield. We got everything done without stress, and headed home in time. It was a beautiful and somewhat chilly day but we layered up. I was amazingly tired when we got home. Today I am making Morning Glory Muffins for Heather and som chicken & dumpling soup for dinner. I rarely bake anymore due to the carbs but there is a cute redhead I would like to make smile my way so…..
