    Good morning. Doggone it's cold out. I'm back to wearing jeans now.

    Heading to Olive Garden tonight with my childhood bf.

    We get the granddog tonight for 8 nights. The kids are going to London, France and Ireland. I'm watching a pup and paying for her daycare. I might ask for a reimbursement for that. ha

    Yep, its cold in Terre Haute where the National Amateur Championship Springer Spaniel Field Trial is starting today. 104 entries. Could have been 105 if Lucy hadn't been so late coming into heat and having puppies.

    Carrie needs to do confidence work with Tucker to show that she doesn't need him to be protective in normal situations, and that often works best under the scrutiny of a dog trainer. Its a Carrie problem, not a Tucker problem. He is reacting to her lack of confidence.

    Yep, all the pups go running to anyone who will pick them up and pet them. A couple need a bit more encouragement than the rest, but Dana and her son have done a phenomenal job with socializing the wee fellas. There really is no wall flower in the bunch. I honestly believe every one of the pups would probably make a decent trial competitor based on their breeding, plus I know they all have good vision and good conformation and mobility, but obviously I want the creme de la creme.

    Your knowledge and skills selling and shipping that equipment really amaze me, Mary. Good luck on a big sale.

    Going into clinic today to see a me only client with 3 dogs in spite of me not really supposed to be there. New partner doc also requested my assist on a dental surgery. The farewell tour for Doc Lee continues…

    IFYKYK….boss is treating us (four couples) to the Inn at Little Washington tonight for a Chef's Table experience. This will be my first experience at a Michelin-rated venue. I hope I don't spill something exotic in my lap.

    • I'm trying to figure out training for Hannah. Just the basics for a well behaved pet. I think she's turned into a 'teenager' with an attitude.
    • The farewell tour for the prodigal Doc Lee. Bittersweet, isn't it?
    • I've been to a Michelin rated restaurant before. They wouldn't let me in, but I've been there.
    • Busy week, but it's mostly good stuff so I march on.
    • Prayers for your DBIL and DS Kelly.

    Dogs are like kids, they can be a handful, challenging, expensive, but so cherished!

    Worked half day, picked up lil T, and he and I are waiting for school bus to drop off my K4 great nephew. This should be a fun play date at his house! PBJ, carrots, apples and pretzels for lunch, yummm lol.

    Hope surgery in IN helps your bil Kelly. Going to be a long road for him and ds & fam, I bet. Do they have kids? How is your Mom doing these days?

    Good Afternoon,

    Prayers for DBIL and DS Kelly

    I have seen pictures of new whip in DC,

    We cleaned basement today, tomorrow will get main floor. then only need two cakes baked by Saturday.

    I have to do PT for knee beginning December 26th and documenting for insurance, bone on bone, planning on replacement March or April.

    Knee replacement. Been there done that.
