    Morning BBB

Walked all around the artsy places of Valpariso yesterday. It was a rare sunny day. Today heading out soon as Ron has a massage 2 hrs =$50 plus $15 to use credit card, total rip off but so far all the atms we have seem seem super sketchy so will just pay for convenience. It's misting today.

    Good morning BBB !

A dusting of snow came through here. We still have 6 inches on ground.

We had a nice evening at friends house last night catching up. We used to ride HDs with them for many years.

Fireplace on, hot coffee and my book in hand, sitting in my new chair, with Christmas music streaming from our new 65" TV that Santa ds1 had delivered here for us yesterday. It's a nice one!

Guess his visit over Thanksgiving and the outdated great room dumb smart TV came up, again. I know dh likely wanted a bigger screen but I didnt. And made sure they knew that lol. This room is too small for 80" imo. They say "no its not, but whatever" lol. I won... Ha. It's a nice unit, easy set up. I will have to fumble around and check out the remote, apps etc at some point. Ds1 shares all his apps with us too, so bonus. We don't have pay tv cable here anymore. Saves $130/mo. I dont miss it. We Use a digital antenna for local tv. And we "were" casting from our phones to tv… don't need to do that now.

Purging is liberating and moving helps get it done! Lee, could you keep a couple somethings for dgs and a future gkid maybe? Something that is a part of you and who you are, and even a couple things of your 2 son's? Im giving my gds a hotwheel of his Daddys when he comes over here once in awhile. He is up to about 8 of them now in a plastic shoe box I have for him. He looks forward to them and goes home to tell Daddy which one he added to his container I have here for him, lol. I got him his first little orange hotwheel race track loop, for Christmas this yr, to keep here to play with the cars.

I kept 1-2 boxes tops of memories and am glad I did. The rest, donating like you said is great. Having a " couple" somethings to show gkids some day is a good thing. I noticed on Thanksgiving day, ds2 was wearing his paternal grandfather's tiger eye gold ring. It was nice to see that nod. Just imo... Im sappy that way!

But no, they don't want our stuff for sure! And storage units are a trap. Though the owners of said units make out taking your rent $$$. My problem is 8 years here, I'm starting to collect stuff in the basement again. So purging annually helps!

The Christmas village is 3/4 set up except for about 8 more pcs, no more room. Im having electrical technical issues as well. One section goes on (its all remote) then out. It will go right back on when I turn it on, then out again. I think Im overloaded...so Im going to deal with that, reroute, split up, add another power strip.

Then bake some cranberry bread to freeze for Christmas. Make some chili and some jalapeño cornbread for dinner tonight.

I think dh will want to see some college football today on his new tv?

You all have a nice day

    Enjoy you cruisers and travelers!

    Prayers up for those ailing.

    Be well BBB!

    The end. Lots say 😘

Love it, Lou! YOu both look great. Hope you are enjoying.

Buyer has become a bit sketchy on us - asking for appraisal and other contigencies not included in the contract. Moreover, wants to charge us $7k for rent back (I can stay at Hilton Garden Inn for half that a month. Ugh. I hate real estate. So much different than buying cars.

Looks like we might be closing on Dec 23 as originally planned instead of the shifted date of 1/21/26. I want these people out of our hair.

Cecilia looks great and the guy she is with is okay too.

I agree, close as soon as it you can because the deals not done until closing is complete. I too hate real estate transactions.
