Hi friends! Let's share the products we use since they're so hard to find sometimes. Gluten can be listed as oodles of things on shampoo/lotion etc.

Here is one list I found:

Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour, Bran Extract, Bran, or Protein
Barley Extract or Lipids
Cyclodextrin
Dextrin
Dextrin Palmitate
Disodium Wheat Germamido PEG-2-Sulfosuccinat
Fermented Grain Extract
Hordeum Vulgare (Barley) Extract
Hydrolyzed Malt Extract,
Oat Flour,
Vegetable Protein,
Wheat Flour,
(AMP-Isostearoyl/PG-Propyl Silanetriol/Steardimonium Hydroxypropyl/PVP Crosspolymer) Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein
Hydrolyzed Wheat Starch
Malt Extract
Maltodextrin
Phytospingosine Extract
Samino Peptide Complex
Secale Cereale (Rye) Seed Flour
Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Extract, Germ Oil, Gluten, Starch, Gluten Extract/Water, Flour Lipids
Wheat Amino Acids
Wheat Germ Glycerides
Wheat. Germ Extract
Wheatgermamidoprpyl Ethyldimonium Ethosulfate
Yeast Extract

I use Hugo's Naturals shampoo and conditioner. I also use Desert Essence. I can't find a body lotion I like that GF so I just use coconut oil. (From the food section!)

I keep it really simple.. to wash my face I use baby shampoo- I have combination skin and it's the only thing I found that doesn't cause acne in the T-zone or dry out my cheeks.
I remove my eye make up with coconut oil.
I use mineral powder foundation. I like the light feeling of a powder.

I like afterglow cosmetics. Took me a while to find the right shades but it is pretty nice. Some things are bright though. Funny, I feel like I need less makeup since going GF. There seems to be more color to my skin. Others have noticed this too.

me too I used to have very dark circles under my eyes and needed a lot to cover it up.. now I look more youthful and rested instead of beat up and tired

I've heard that all dove products are gluten free. I don't know how true it is, but its work a look.
  • I also remove my makeup/clean my face with oil (olive, coconut, safflower...whatever i have at the time) and a warm wash cloth. I also use the oil as a moisturizer. It works great!

My brain is so foggy today I can't even think of the shampoo and makeup I am using! It is from Whole Foods.

And I use Aubrey Hair Spray and it is gluten free. I also have used their GPB shampoo and it is gluten free.
  • Emani makeup products are ALL gluten free and their foundation is amazing!
