I love Beats Antique, even though the music suits the Tribal styles much better.
http://beatsantique.com/news-feed/ (you can even download their Collide album for free)
I really enjoy Nancy Arjam's songs when we dance to them in class.

Me too! I have everything that they've put out for free and am planning on downloading the rest when I have more cash. Zoe has a new DVD out too!
I also love oddly enough Squirrel Nut Zippers and Transglobal Underground.0 -
Since I'm doing Tribal I OF COURSE love Beats. I'm also really digging on Balkan Beat Box & Corvus Corvax.
Belly dancing + Bag Pipes = a big ol happy geeky me. :bigsmile:0 -

Do you have iTunes? There is a podcast out there called "Bellydance Revolution" that put together a bunch of playlists of songs for various things and turned them into podcasts that are free to download. They have one called "Drills & Skills" thats got some good songs on it (it's like 25 min long). Unfortuately I can't remember any of the names on it right now.
The Belly Dance Super Stars also have a free online radio station you can listen to (http://www.bellydancesuperstars.com/radio/) to find something that works well for you.0 -
Oh thank you for the links !
I made a Spotify playlist if you are interested : (warning, huge long playlist ) http://open.spotify.com/user/exotike/playlist/5ibs4d1GuPAnxnm1zaddh5
I love Beats Antique of course Amon Tobin is nice for bellydancing (not the last album by the way), and Solace is a great too : http://solace1.bandcamp.com/album/the-thorn-campaign0 -
I love it all! The only music I have in my collection right now is a mixed music cd that my former instructor made for each of us for our choreographed routines and then I also have Tarkan and Amr Diab, love both of them! I will have to check out some of the others that you have all posted.0

Here's a short song. It's a modern darbuka mix. Two other dancers and I did a routine to this song.
