EASY NEW CHALLENGE!

We're young, vivacious, and have a lot going on. I think we need realistic challenges we can meet.

For ONE WEEK, commit to drinking a gallon of water a day. Already doing it? A gallon and a half? Metric? Use liters or whatever it is. (I'm a writing teacher, not math.)

1. We will begin tomorrow, and continue through next Friday, Nov. 18.
2. Comment here and let us know you're participating.
3. For fun, let's post our start weight and end weight to see if it has any effect on it.
4. Check in here DAILY and let us know how you are doing.

This will be a wonderful way to flush toxins from your system.

    Well I can't weigh-in today 'cause my DH hid the scale, I'm only allowed to see it every Monday lol, I think he hid it in the car because I turned this house upside-down and I can't find it...... Anyways... As of Monday I was 256 :-(

    Question and im being totally honest but is this even healthy?? I have to drink 16 cups when the average amount recomened is 8 (depening on weight) :S I dont want to hurt myself.

    It absolutely is. MFP recommends "8 cups," but it means 8 glasses of 8 oz.

You are unlikely to suffer from water intoxication, even if you drink a lot of water, as long as you drink over time as opposed to intaking an enormous volume at one time. You may need more water if the weather is very warm or very dry, if you are exercising, or if you are taking certain medications. The bottom line is this: it's possible to drink too much water, but unless you are running a marathon or an infant, water intoxication is a very uncommon condition. "

    I got to 14cups yesterday and I have never drank so much water in my life, I think I had to go to the bathroom every half hour haha!

    I got to 16 but boy did I go a lot too!!! I lost ONE POUND already! That is nuts!!! I wonder if it will keep working that well or slack off towards the end of the week...?
