Show us your pets! :)

Now that I live in a London flat, I can't have any pets :( but I miss them terribly! This is Hilda, she enjoys cheese and cookies and just about anything growing in my Mum's garden (radishes, carrots, tomatoes, roses!) which she steals much to Mum's despair. Her tail is a bit shorter than average because it was pecked off by a magpie when she was a baby (she was hit by a car in the pouch of her mother which is why we raised her!).

<<< My dog Dylan, who is my rock. He's 9 1/2 now, but still as mischievous as ever. He was bred as a show dog, but was too "grumpy" apparently, so we adopted him.

Hey there LilMissFoodie, Fellow antipodean-turned-londoner here. (Originally from South Africa, then Namibia....now London)

I miss having pets (The foxes who shred our rubbish bags every night don't count!) We used to have wild Onyx who would wander into our garden in Namibia and eat my mom's daisy bushes!

hahahaha! In Australia we always had loads of pets. 6 dogs, 11 cats, horses, goats, chooks, rabbits, guinea pigs, kangaroos and wallaroos. Even a magpie at one point! I do miss having them around. Although I hated squarky (the magpie) and wasn't entirely upset when one of our dogs had him for breakfast!

The picture posting procedure seems very complicated. Will try to get my head round it later (after gym, ha!) and post one of Manfred, my cat.

It is a bit tedious at first. I had already used photobucket before (although damned if I could remember my log on!) when I had myspace - so that was a long while ago! Once you get used to using photobucket then you just need to remember to change the IMG to lower case (stupid MFP bug!).

here are my two cats, they're very old (17)

Nutmeg (she's blind as you can probably tell) and just sleeps behind the sofa all day, we have to check her often to make sure she's still alive behind there in the summer when the back door is open she'll still go out and bask in the sun, though its been about 3 years since she ventured past the boundaries of the house..she was my sisters cat as we were growing up but she went in the RAF in her late teens and when i moved out i took them both.

and her sister Hazel (she's senile we're sure) she never ever shuts up, forgets that we've fed her, even 5 mins after she's been fed, will often ask to be let outside and then forgets why she went out and she sleeps in the kids clothes draws if she can get in there.

hehe love your elderly cats! Your blind kitty reminds me of a puppy we had when I was little that was born with no eyes. She was so cute and clever, followed our tapping and such but then one of my cousins stepped on her playing rugby in the back yard and broke her hip so she had to be put down :(

Next comes her brother - Clyde. He was almost 18 when he was PTS. Adored this cat - broke my heart to let him go and still miss him badly

So - we moved on and got two new rescue cats. Very different characters but adorable and funny and wouldn't be without them..
