Weigh-In Day Rituals?

Hey guys,

First off, when do you weigh in? I weigh in on Mondays. I feel like it puts me on track for the week since points start over that day.

Also, do you have any weigh-in day rituals? Such as eating the same type of food, wearing the same type of clothes when you get on that scale? Also, do you work out the day of or choose not to?

I usually bring a light lunch to work that day instead of going out. I also go home and change from work so I wont have my clunky shoes on. I usually wear yoga pants and a long sleeve tshirt so my weigh ins will be consistent.

We were told by our leader not to work out right before you weigh in since your muscles hold water and it can cause an inconsistent reading. So I usually work out after if I do.

My WI is Wednesday mornings. I do not work out before it. As for WI rituals I wear yoga pants and a light t-shirt. I also make sure all my pockets are empty and I take off my glasses as well. LOL. I don't eat or drink anything till after I WI too. Also and I know this is probably silly but when I get there I go to the bathroom first and then get weighed.
  • My weigh in is on Saturday AM at 6:30 AM. I wear the same clothes every week! I take my diet coke with me to drink after weigh in.

I WI on Fridays at lunch. I wear yoga pants and a light t-shirt too. I try not to eat beforehand but if I'm up early and need to then I'll have a boiled egg. BUT I try sooooo hard not to drink water at all that morning! Biggest Loser style!!! Then I come home and make a breakfast burrito and enjoy every bite!

I weigh in Sat morning. Attending a meeting Sat morning motivates me to persist with my efforts over the weekend (by far my downfall). I now wear the same pair of jeans/t-shirt and sweatshirt. I weigh in at 730am, go to spinning class at 8 and then go back for my 10 am meeting. I eat my peanut butter before weigh in and eat breakfast after working out. I slide off my shoes and sweatshirt before weighing in. After the meeting, I go shopping at the farmers market and have fun picking out my fruits and veggies for the week, and meal planning based on what is at the market for the week. Not too much longer though...and I'll be stuck with tastless supermarket produce

These all sound so great!!! At our weigh ins, they make us keep our shoes on so I always wear flats.

Unfortunately I weigh in at 6pm on Mondays so it's after I have eaten lunch and a snack or two at work. I try to eat light and healthy though those days.

Going to the market sounds great! I really need to go to our local farmers market a few times before it gets too cold.

I do WW online and my weigh in day is Friday. I hit the scale first thing in the morning after I wake up and use the restroom but before coffee and, in my pajamas, barefoot. I take whatever number it is on that day. I started MFP on a Tuesday ( 2 weeks ago ) and have been recording my weight on Tuesday here, it's usually a little different than Friday so I think I will just stick with one weigh day from now on. Great topic!

My WI is on Monday morning. I go to a WW store to weigh in so the hours are flexible. I can go in anytime between 9:30am and 4:30pm, depending on when I get up and around. I wear my work scrubs to weigh in because I usually have to work that day. I try not to eat or drink anything prior to weighing in, then I usually go to Subway after I weigh in. I try to keep everything very routine on the day I weigh in so my weight is accurate.

I weigh in on Wednesdays, around 6pm. I try to wear the same type of clothes every time and don't eat supper until after the meeting.

Hello all Im Luan I started well re-joined weight watchers about 7 weeks ago. I get weighed on a tuesday evening.
I always wear the same clothes and try to work out before I go. I wear leggings and the lightest top I own and I take my shoes off.
I religiously eat and drink the same things on weigh day. For breakfast I have cereal (branflakes) with skimmed milk and a cup of tea. mid morning water and yogurt and at lunch I have 2 ryvita crackers and cottage cheese and a slice of turkey and a small portion of soup and another glass of water.

I come home get changed ready to go. Pop a banana in my bag and a plum and a bottle of diet coke and get weighed eat my banana and drink my soda whist the meeting is running and come home and eat a nice hearty meal.

Its is so predictable I do the same thing every week. I have lost 26lbs in 7 weeks so must be doing something right I love that I can eat whatever I like in moderation although I often make healthy choices. I dont have to feel left out and can still socialise with my friends xxx
  • I am doing WW online as well, so no meeting weigh-ins for me. I weigh on Monday morning after using the restroom and right before I step in the shower

When I was going to the meetings, I did Sunday meetings for a while - I tried to wear similar clothing each week (always slid my shoes off) and made sure I used the same scale each time if possible. Although they are all suppose to be calibrated the same everyone always said there was one that showed them gaining weight when they stepped on it.
