using a crucial SSD, i7 3.4hgz, the sandy-thingy. There's a couple other drives for archiving, traditional mechanical.
8gb of DDR3. Not the fastest, the second fastest. 1.8ghz?
I don't remember the board brand. It was pretty highly recommended.
using 24 + 19 monitor setup. The 24 is the high gamut dell 2408WFP+ I think. The 19 is an old Viewsonic. Still has better color than most monitors I see. Very important for photo editing.

Using a sound card... Crud, I forget. It's not Clabs or mAudio. Starts with an A maybe. Drivers are all in .rar. Stupid.

I think my video is geforce 280? I dont spent big on video card. My primary use is Photoshop and Lightwave.

I have one of those gaming keyboards with the 18 macro keys, which I don't use. I also have two different gaming keyboard addon thingies (nt52? Logitech something) that I don't use.
Classic logitech gaming mouse of some sort. Has the silver swirlies and is indestructible.

I do my gaming with sennheiser usb headset if i need mic, or I use a headphone amp and sennheiser HD580 cans.


Final note: I love the SSD. My loading screens in Skyrim are less than a second. Downside is, I can't read the tip text fast enough.

Sony MDR-V700DJ

As a DJ I have logged sooo many hours wearing those. Easily over a few thousand hours over the years. At one time they were the most popular "DJ" headphone out there. I currently and for a long time have been using Technics RP-DJ1200.

Not bad looking headphones, my next ones will be pioneers I think

For sound isolation the Tech's are great. They really fit & hug your ear. I have used the Pioneer HDJ-1000 also and they are almost a duplicate of the Sonys.

But TBH if you want a truely awesome sounding pair of cans check out SENNHEISER brand. Specifically, the HD-25 series models. My old roommate had them and they blew everything else out of the water. Check em out.
