Either you think they're ridiculous, you haven't felt any of them (like me), they are rocking your world (haha), or you have some theory about what's going on! I know it has nothing to do with weight loss but I thought it would be fun to ask.
Not to mention I thoroughly believe that the earthquake on saturday after the win in Stillwater might have been the stands shaking from all that celebration

I was thinking it might be because even God couldn't believe they won another one... HEHE
I didn't feel the "first" one that happened after 2am on Friday night/Saturday morning, but I'd ended up with a few people over at my house and there was a lot of movement on my wood floors around that time.
Saturday night was a different story... I was by myself sitting on the couch and was like "WHOA! Seriously?" Then Monday's I heard but didn't feel. I thought it was thunder, but my dog was whimpering, so I went back in the house and turned on the news... viola! Another one.
The fact that Oklahoma is having earthquakes doesn't concern me as much as the fact that the strength of them and frequency seems to be increasing. Not sure what to make of it...0 -
The novelty has worn off and I am ready to be done with them. They can go back to CA now and stay there. Californians are used to them. I suspect many of them are wondering why us Okies are making such a big deal about a 5.6.0

didnt feel the first was so outta it with the second thought it was my allergy meds lol and the third was creepy0

After I realized it wasn't a tornado I enjoyed it and the other 2 as well. LOL0

I'm just happy now to have regular boring days that aren't interupting my workouts. With the change in weather lately, I've been eating more White Castle burgers and other processed food way to much. I'm looking forward to getting back on track. Today's the day 11/11/11 !!!!!!!!!0

That is an excellent point! We actually have a geology/ seismology major who attended our church the other day and said that typically all these small earthquakes lead to a much bigger one! They are hoping that the 5.6 was the big one or else it could get one worse.
And I agree, Californians are likely laughing at us right about now lol.0 -
I've lived in oklahoma 51 years and don't recall earthquakes until the past 5 or 6 years. I'm pretty sure we had them, but they were likely much less intense. They are definitely disconcerting and are causing damage and disruption. Hope we see a tapering off and lessening in intensity!0

Definitely unexpected. But I was not bothered by them too much. In fact, the first one I slept through. The second one was over about the time I recognized it for what it was. And the third was difficult to distinguish from the (normal) rocking of the rv caused by the wind gusts.
NEW BUMPER STICKER:
If the trailer's Rocking.....
don't expect it to be anything other than the wind gusts or earthquakes.
(Do you think it will catch one?)0 -
I REALLY hope the worst is behind us! They are frightening and they do a lot of damage. Many people don't have earthquake insurance, either, so they have to absorb losses which they cannot afford.0
