Weekend

I get really jealous at how some of my MFP friends are able to get out and move during the day. My job is pretty sedentary. And I often work through lunch.
Luckily, on the weekend, I have some options. This weekend, my goal is to swim at least one time (I have a bunch of things I need to do, like see Breaking Dawn-heehee- so once is about all I'll get to). The other thing I plan to do is walk the battlefield . I live in Gettysburg, and you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a canyon or monument around here. :-)
Picketts' charge site is about a mile each way. I start where the charge started, and follow the path that the farmer has been kind enough to keep maintained in his field. It's beautiful and peaceful, and a pretty good walk for me.
Hope you ladies all have a great weekend!

Your not alone!! I too have a VERY sedentary job but lately have been FORCING myself to go to the gym after work. it makes it more difficult if you have after work commitments (kids, 2 jobs, etc.) but even just a half an hour on the elliptical can burn up to 400 calories depending on your weight! don't get discouraged! good luck!
p.s. Breaking Dawn was amazing. LOL0
