Butterscotch schnapps + cream soda = Butter Beer (for all those Harry Potter Fans)
Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey Whiskey + Lemon juice + hot water = a new version of a Hot Toddy.0 -
I am a big fan of most anything with alcohol in it. Some how I always end up back at regular Bacardi and coke zero with a lime though. My favorite shot would have to be an irish car bomb which is a glass quarter to half full of guiness with a shot glass of 50/50 baileys and jameson dropped in. You then pound it down like no ones business. :drinker:0

For those who like Fernet Branca, I present a Toronto cocktail:
2 oz. rye or Canadian whiskey
1/4 oz. Fernet Branca
1/4 oz simple syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Stir and strain
Flame a strip of orange peel and drop into the drink
Personally, I dispense with the whole fire and alcohol thing.0 -
My favorite martinis:
2oz Beefeater or Bombay original gin (not Sapphire)
1/2 oz Noilly Prat dry vermouth
Stir, strain into frosted cocktail glass.
Garnish with 1-2 big honkin' olives. Stuffed with garlic, pimento, almond, or nothing.
Variation - the Dirty Sinatra - use 2 jalapeno stuffed olives. Spill a little brine into the shaker before stirring.
(it's said that Frank Sinatra likes jalapeno olives in his martinis)
Can-Can Martini:
2 oz gin
1.5 oz St. Germain
1/4 oz Noilly Prat dry or Lillet Blanc
Sometimes I just do 2oz gin, 1/2 oz St. Germain. A bit more subtle.0 -
Anyone have any holiday party drink recipes they love?
Preferrably something that can be made in a large batch so that no one needs to constantly attend the bar.0 -

Here is a good one for gatherings and holidays. It is fruity and packs a punch.

We usually make it in a pitcher versus the bowl at home.0 -

When it's a chilly night out, I like to sit and sip on hot chocolate with Peppermint Schnapps. Yum! If you have a candy cane you can add it as a garnish and swizzle stick.0
