Too many, I really can't pick only 1.
To mind, just the latest that I've seen, Death Note and Death Note 2: The Last Name!
Japanese psychological thriller with a difference. If you haven't seen it and don't mind subtitles you're missing out.0 -

If I can only do one, then I guess I'll just use a different one next time it comes up.
The Mission
mid 80's with Robert DeNiro, Jeremy Irons, and Liam Neison
Clash between politics, religion, ethics, personal anguish... it's got it all.0 -

I have so many - it's hard to choose!
Off the top of my head:
- Goodfellas
- Moonstruck
- Love, Actually
- All of the Godfather movies
I'm sure there's more that I can't think of right now!0 -
Only one??? That's just cruel...
Okay: "American Beauty." That's the one.
Or "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." Or "Airplane!" Or "Chasing Amy." Or "The Sandlot." Or "Saw."
This is making my brain hurt...0 -
Hmmmm just one?
All about eve
But I would also say pulp fiction, goodfellas, lotr, fight club, clue, damn it I will stop now!0 -

This is like asking me to pick my favorite song ever (which in a pinch I would choose "The Laws Have Changed" by the New Pornographers, but that's another thread).
Gun held to head, I'd choose LOTR "Two Towers" not because it was the best of the trilogy, but because it was the first film I felt warranted going to the theater for in many years. I did not regret a second of it, even having to "hold back" a large Dr. Pepper for most of the last half.0 -

I agree with the "cruel" part.. too many to name my all-time favorite, so how about my favorite-of-the-moment? I just watched Seven Pounds (again)... I cry every time. Also love Love Actually and Goonies!!0 -
