I'm not super worried because it's 1 day. I refuse to deny myself my favorites because of calories and there's going to be way to much good food. I figure if I'm extra good int he days leading up to Thanksgiving and right after, I should be okay. I'm also not going to pile my plate crazy high. Portion control is my plan for the day. Small portions of everything I want. And I'm only going to eat all of that stuff on the actual holiday and not the days around it. Since I'm going to someone else's house for Thanksgiving and probably Christmas as well I won't have to worry about leftovers. My one weakness....gingerbread cookies. I'll admit I bought the Pillsbury dough at the store but I'm only making a few cookies at a time and only making them when my husband is home. Since he works nights, it helps me control how many I eat and when.0

I've been trying to get myself mentally prepared (to be strong) in the days leading up to the Holiday. It is only ONE DAY and I am planning to indulge in all my favorite foods. That doesn't mean to eat until the point of feeling like my stomach is gonna burst -- instead have moderate/reasonable portions of my favorite foods.
I don't want to deny myself those foods that you eat once or twice a year.
And I am scheduling extra exercising in the days surrounding the holiday.0 -
I am not worried;) My portion sizes are under control:) I'm going to eat until I'm satisfied, not full. Eat slowly, and just enjoy the day.0

Ooooh that is a good idea! Extra walking would be good for me. Thanks!0
