Following on from the initial post (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/399941-fitness-challenge) I decided to start an additional thread showing the benchmark times and monthly improvement for those that decide to give it a go!
The fitness challenge consists of:
2 mile run (timed)
Push Ups
Sit Ups
Both push ups and sit ups are as many as you can do in two minutes.
A full overview and charts are available here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/399941-fitness-challenge
If you are unable to do any of the tests it may be substituted for another activity; after all it is just for fun and its about showing an improvement in fitness.

Just going off topic a sec...
How accurate are the read outs on elliptical cross trainers?
Apparently, I burned 709cal in 26min and did a distance of 9.4..
Now... I don't know if the distance is in KM or Miles..
There is no way for me to check which it is, but I am guessing it's km.. which works out to be around 5miles..
Anyway, I am going to try a 2mile dash on it tonight to see how I do..0 -

Personally I don't trust them so I use the readout from my heart rate monitor; still not 100% accurate but a damn site nearer as you load in your personal stats.0
