Hey all!

I'm from Mid-Michigan, 44, married with a son. I just joined MFP but I'm not new to losing weight. My highest was 380 pounds two years ago and right now I'm at 351. It's been slow, mainly due to my obsession with food and it being my comforter.

I'm working with a trainer and a dietician and my goal is to lose at least 100 pounds. I'm looking for accountability.

    I reallllly like this website.
    I joined some months back and am back on after a hiatus. And one of the neat things I discovered about this site is that you can use the nutritional counter to track not just calories but where the calories are coming from.
    This is good for me because I hadn't realized that healthy eating wasn't just about calories, but also nutrition.
    In a weird way it sort of gave me a boost.
    Like an encouragement to diversify my foods and keep it interesting and fun to make sure I'm getting the right balance of fats, carbs and proteins as well as the minerals.
