So I just got fitted for my dress this past week. I'm no where near the size I wanted to be, but they told me that the sizes run small. I measured for a size 16, but was able to fit into the sample dress that was a size 12 so I ended up ordering a size 14. Not a size 8 that I was hoping for but that's ok!
I thought it would be fun for us to post links (if possible) to the dresses that we are going to wear for the weddings we will be in.

I'm really hoping this dress will look nice, because I LOVE it. We get to choose our own dress, as long as it's knee length and the color kiwi.

Well I actually got lucky this time and the dress is very forgiving. I have to get fitted for the dress probably this week I fit into a size 14 at the store in a similar dress but I really want to order a 12. The wedding is in March so hopefully I can get it together by then. Here's the link.

I picked my dress up a few weeks ago. I had to order a size 10, which is the first double digit I ever bought in my life. Its in Malibu blue, it fits alright but emphasized the tummy more than i would like. I am hoping to loose some tummy and tone my arms before the may wedding.

Pretty sure ours will come from David's Bridal... we tried some on, and I'm a 6 right now...hoping to be at least a 4 and maybe even a 2 by then. I didn't really like any of their styles for the color my bride wants (Malibu, that really bright sky blue)... but whatever, it's not my wedding... I will put on the dress she tells me to wear, and I will smile while doing it, no matter how much I hate the thing!! hahaha
David's Bridal... sigh... seems like all the cutest dresses don't come in the color my bride wants us in... lol!!0 -

The other dress I posted is the wrong fabric, so I had to find a different dress. I'm looking into getting this dress, just shortened to knee length and having the sash shortened as well. It would be in the color kiwi and the sash and halter in ivory. Just need to get approval from the bride

So, I'm beginning to think I'm cursed with this dress. I need to find ANOTHER one, because the company she was getting our dresses from just don't have enough dresses in the right fabric and color. So we kinda revamped her bridesmaids and now I'm looking for a new dress. Third time's a charm, I'm going to find the perfect one :happy: I'm going into the bridal store today to see what I can find, wish me luck :laugh:0

My dress problems are finally over! Ordered this dress and will have it altered to knee length. I had to order a 16 which is better than I expected, but still a bit disappointing. It has a tie up back, so it sucked in the tummy trouble and gave me some FANTASTIC curves. My husbands eyes popped out :blushing: I love it!
