i'm changing my goal for this challenge. it's starting to look like a possibility for me to lose 100 lbs in a year if i keep losing over 1 lb per week for the next 2 months. it's gonna be tough, especially with the holidays coming up. i'm setting a "hopeful" goal of reaching 182 by January 24th, and a "realistic" goal of reaching that same weight by valentines day :bigsmile: either way, i hope to be out of the "obese" category (185.8) by then, and that would be just as good :drinker:

Nice loss!! Holy crow!!
I'm KNOWING that I'll be up this week. It's looking like it'll be up by 0.6 lb. "The Painters are In," aka, "Aunt Flow is visiting," aka, "I'm riding the crimson tide." lol. Water retention to the max. I felt like I was back at 195 lbs yesterday. Ah well! Such is life! It seems like my weight loss has taken to zig zagging and I am okay with that!0 -

I agree. When I first found the Groups section, I joined three. I quickly realized that was too many for me, so I dropped the other two and stayed here. I'm not the most invovled, but I really enjoy this group. No real suggestions as things seem to be fine.

I think I am up exactly what I predicted I would be! I think once I get this water thing under control the zigzags will be less zigzaggy. I've also got "the painters in" aka I'm riding the "crimson tide" and I can feel the water retention like nobodies business. Part of life though! Only 2.8 more lbs until goal weight! I am hoping for 2 lbs lost in december (that may be an impossibly hard challenge). I get my Bodymedia Fit tonight around midnight. I am hoping to have it charged by the morning so I can start using it tomorrow. I feel like it'll really help to put things into perspective. No more guess work. I believe that my HRM was seriously over estimating the burn during my Rushfit days... Speaking of that, I'm starting it up again starting Saturday. Please check in with me on it (when you remember/ have time), It'll help to hold me accountable!

That's how I've been taking my ups and downs as well. The downs are so much bigger than I have seen lately that despite some "ups" I still am losing a good amount of weight. In saything that... this week... the scale isn't moving down at all... me thinks I need to re-evaluate once the Crimson Tide is overwith.0 -

OK not to bad. only one lb up from before the holidays trying to get back on track but things are sooo busy and stress levels are through the roof both at work an home and then on top of it finding gym time is getting harder and harder. wish me luck this weekend cause all i want is some egg nogg and rum.

Weekly Success: I went shopping and was able to fit into size medium tops and size 10 jeans!! Very excited

My struggles: Can't get myself to work out!! I've been so exhausted the last two weeks with all the running around and extra time I'm putting in at work for this concert we're having next week. And then, when I do have free time...I play Skyrim lol!! I need to have hubs put a pass on the computer and not let me play until I work out! LOL
My strengths: I've been eating pretty clean, staying away from fast-food restaurants unless its a sub place. I lost a pound so its all good...I just need to be even more active, I know it

Weighing in today at 202.4 lbs!!! That's 2.4 loss this past week. I am stoked! I keep changing things up and have managed to have two months of consecutive weekly losses. My personal immediate goal is Onderland for Christmas! For the first time, I feel like I know I can do it!
Can't believe there are only 11 weeks until Valentines Day!
I belong to a competive challenge (a biggest loser type with teams). It is helping me stay focused and to try new things for November and December. Such a great time to be on track. I am sooo looking forward to starting the new year in Onderland!

Challenge Goal Weight: 135 lbs -> this is starting to look a bit steep given my SLOW rate & lack of focus these days
Weekly Success: yesterday's 17k race time 35 minutes faster than it was 2 yrs ago on the same course -> up a mountain and back down -> 2:40 reduced to 2:05
Weekly Struggle: sooooo busy with work last week, expect the same out of the coming week. can I hit the pause button for 48 hrs in order to catch up on sleep/housework/sanity? much harder to focus on diet when I can hardly function!
This Week’s Personal Challenge: I'll be happy if I can get 1 strength session in this week! Also gotta try to get sleep - aim for >6.5 hrs per night, although tonight does not look promising.0 -
