A little victory.

I had a bad day today, for a long, long list of reasons. I really, really wanted to binge on all of the things I'm allergic to, and all of the things I'm not supposed to eat, and I wanted to throw them up. But I dealt with it by finishing the things I needed to get done, and just eating a little bit more of the things I can eat, instead of going nuts on the things I can't have. I "rode the wave" of my craving to binge and purge, and it subsided! I need better ways of controlling my stress on days like this, but I'm glad to know that I can white knuckle through the worst of it and it will eventually subside. Even though I started today with mixed emotions about a new low weight (my BMI is now below 17...), I get to end it (after I finish watching Dexter!) with the knowledge that I don't have to cave in to the urge to b/p. That feels good.

Good for you girl. It can be hard to ride through those but once you do the accomplishment is great because each time it gets easier and easier. I've struggled with it myself and for the first time last week I had made it 2 weeks (onto my 3 week mark).
Also Dexter is the best!!0 -
