Planning 17DD into the Holidays

I'm going to reiterate something from a previous post, so that people who scan titles can find this information quickly.
Some people are stressing over how the holidays are interfering with the 17 day cycles.
Don't stress over it.
There is no magic to the 17-day thing. It's an arbitrary number that Dr. Moreno selected. It's long enough to help healthy habits develop, but short enough that the end of a cycle is always in sight.
Here's a plan for December:
1. Make the whole month one cycle (Accelerate, Activate, or Achieve -- wherever you happen to be).
2. On every day that you have no holiday eating activities, eat only from your cycle's food list -- only those foods!
3. For holiday events, eat your regular meals from your cycle's food list. Indulge only at the party or luncheon.
That's it. It's pretty simple.
And while you may not see the magical melting effect you would on a pure 17-day Accelerate cycle, you will likely still some pleasant results -- and can look forward to not being depressed in January.
