Thanks for sharing - that was interesting reading. I don't think packaged foods should be the majority of any one's diet though. But having a granola bar or cold cereal occasionally is okay and having a gluten free choice is good.0

I agree with the above poster that packaged/processed foods shouldn't be a habit.
I like to stick to naturally gluten free things, but sometimes, I just need a bit of cereal in my life!
I think everyone should consider at least TRYING to live gluten free. There are so many issues with wheat that go beyond those who have intolerance or Celiac's.
Have you ever read the book Wheat Belly? It will take any die hard wheat fan and turn them gluten free.
I am gf because I have Celiac's, and then I read that book to my husband on a long car ride. Even though he does not medically need to be gf, he is, because the facts in that book are just plain scary.0 -
I agree with sticking to naturally GF things and not relying on GF substitutes for regular packaged food. I think most people would benefit from being naturally GF, but wouldn't benefit much just from substituting GF-flour-based, processed foods for their wheat-containing processed foods.0
