41) Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!”
We need to remember when temptations come our way that our first line of defense is prayer. Our flesh is weak and if we are left to our own strength we are more likely to give into the temptation. If we fill our spirits with God through prayer and reading His Word He will give us His strength to help us walk away and push that temptation away. So next time you feel like you can't resist get on your knees and cry out to God and He will lift you up and and strengthen you to walk away.
