I did 27 years in the United States Army. Did pretty good when I came out, made it to E9. To much good civilian food and no exercise has caught up with me!!!0

I did 7 1/2 years Army Active Duty and 11 years Army Reserve. Got away from the importance of being physically fit; paying for it now. But determined for get it back.0

I was USAF and separated after a 6 year enlistment and a 11 month extension but hopefully I can fall into the ranks with those retired on here.0

I retired from the US Army five years back, and I enjoyed my new found freedom of eating what I wanted, sleeping in, and not having to deal with daily five mile runs a little too much.
Well, forty pounds later, I decided I don't like the way I look or feel so I've dusted off the running shoes and hit the concrete in order to get back to my old military standard.. I found that I actually missed running.
I'm currently below my old "tape weight" but still have a few more pounds I need to lose.0
