Life Without Ed

Hi ladies! So I met with a new therapist yesterday, and she is super cool. She loaned me a book called "Life Without Ed" by Jenni Schaefer and Thom Rutledge, and I want to recommend it to all of you.
I am not one to read self-help books, but I started reading when I got home from my session last night and could NOT put this book down! It's all about one woman's journey through recovery and the approach that her counselor took with her. It discusses separating yourself from your eating disorder (they refer to it as "Ed", as if it is an ex-husband), and beginning to recognize your own thoughts and values.
I really like it, and it seems really true. There have been several sections already that I have read aloud to my husband and he commented that it sounded just like me. I think many of you will relate to it as well.
Anyway, good luck to everyone this weekend! xo B
