    Best Mexican = Cantina 1511

Some might argue for Azteca, but I maintain it's Cantina. And Cantina takes reservations online. No wait. Table side guac that is heaven on a chip. It's just a win!

If we're talking Mexican I have to say that Vida (while not authentic) is gluten free friendly, and their veggie tacos are to die for. And Loco Lime is . . . well they have a diablo shrimp dish I can't even begin to describe without limiting the yumminess.

How do you suppose we grow membership. I like you, but if it's just the two of us tossing around restaurants . . . we could have done that on our profile, LOL!

This is true. You could send an invite to a friend of mine, JeannieFo (we were friends before MFP). But I know no others on here in Charlotte. You're it.

You could start a thread in the Chit Chat area. I'm sure more people will join when they search for groups and what-not. I've been searching Charlotte for days now.

Not in Charlotte, but in Union County
Mexican - La Unica, the one off Walk Up in Monroe, not the one in Indian Trail,
Italian - Napoli's in Monroe and
Seafood - Mayfair also in Monroe.
At all but the Mexican I can find meals for less then 600 calories.

There's also a Red Bowl in Monroe and they are about to build one in the Sun Valley neighborhood in Indian Trail. I don't eat Sushi, but their food is excellent!

I thought Saffron was just OK. I'm not impressed. I'm ready to try another Indian restaurant for restaurant week. Anyone else participating in restaurant week??

If you are in South Charlotte and you like Southern Food, I love New South. It has a menu that I think everyone would like...

Since I am originally from up North, I always take my visitors here for Fried Green Tomatoes, Oysters, Good Fish....my husband loves the meatloaf!

I have passed that placed a million times and always wondered about it. I will have to try it now.
