    Hey Black Team! I want to offer up my services. I'm a graphic design by trade... If you guys want to take a picture of yourself with a black tshirt on (or any tshirt... just easier if you're already wearing a black one) I can make a quick "team black" profile picture for you like this one.     Hey Black Team! How's the weekend going? The 5k went pretty well. I came in at number 712 out of a little over 900 people (not last!). with a time of 49:28.3 and a pace of 15:54min per mile. Annabelle fell asleep in her jogger around mile 2... The hard part of races is that at the finish line they try to give you all sorts of carbs... pasta/pizza/cookies etc. I just wanted some water! I ended up with water, 1 slice of cheese pizza, and a banana but over all a good time!

    Good morning Black team!! How is everyone this morning? I am so proud that our team is checking in their food and exercise this weekend. I normally do NO exercise on the weekend, but I am having my family join me and makes it fun. I am getting use to the water. Also the 10 extra minutes of exercise are not seeming so hard the last couple of days:happy: Anyway have a great Sunday!!!!

    Huddle up Black Team!!!! This is it, LAST CHANCE WORKOUT!!! I hope everyone is getting their water in and exercise. I can not believe how easy it is getting for me to drink the water. I hope it becomes into a habit. It's about time I start to have healthy habits LOL. The exercise, I am not going to lie, it was hard in the weekend to get them in. Especially because for most of us it is the time when we are with our family and friends. Now remember that we are going to conitnue the water/10 extra min. challenges next week. Plus, tomorrow I will add a new challenge. I think that each challenge we have should be a "good" habit we add to our lives.

    Ok gals/guys this is it, lets do amazing today and show the other teams what BLACK TEAM is made of!!!

    P.S. I will make a new topic for us to weigh in, I will do it tonight. Just in case anyone is up before me in the morning and wants to weigh in.:smile:

    Hi Black Team! I'm Jackie. I'm originally from NJ but now I live in NC. I have also lived in Germany for 2 years. I am enjoying the warmer North Carolina weather and not missing the Jersey/Bavarian winters I experienced in the past!

    I've been tracking my water and exercise all week and I'm looking forward to my first weigh in with you all. Keep up the great work!

    When you go to community, click on the settings tab by where it says "My Topics" and all that, and it should come up with a little box you can check to add your ticker to your posts! Hope that helps!

    I'm so nervous about weighing in tomorrow; I think I may break even and end up with no weight lost. I started last week like a firecracker, eating great and working out even adding the extra ten minutes to my workout. Then comes an emotional stressor (got dissappointing news about a family member) coupled with the weekend - lost my motivation for working out and made poor eating choices. I tend to eat salty and sugary foods when I'm stressed. The one good thing I will say, is that I did stop myself from eating any more than one pack of tasty kake cupcakes in response to the news; I recognized that I was eating in response to feelings and I stopped myself. So that's good.

    As I'm sitting here, I'm trying to quiet the negative thoughts about failure and wasting another week. Rather I'm trying to concentrate on the positive things I've done for myself today:

    1. Meal planned for the entire week through Saturday
    2. Went grocery shopping and bought no junk
    3. Waited out working late and ate a sensible/healthy meal when I got home.
    4. Just about ready to go back my gym bag for tomorrow to meet up with my trainer before work

    Ready to put this week behind me and move forward towards success.

    I am sorry to hear about your bad family news... but congratulations on realizing the true meaning for heading to those bad foods! that is the hardest part of this journey. Way to plan ahead I always find that really helps me so I don't go home and make something terrible for dinner. If I have to cook and it might take a little longer than I try to cut up some veggies and snack a little while I am cooking on those, much healthier than cookies or chips! :) Good luck today with your trainer! :)

    try it again but this time change the (IMG) to lowercase (img)... that usually does the trick
