I loved his description of sushi as being gay and also the sardine dish that came on a triangular plate with the sardines woven together.
I've never read any of Simon Doonan's books and I'd never hear of him before Jonathan Harvey reworked Simon's memoirs "Confessions of a window dresser" in the amusing and quirky sitcom "Beautiful People". Simon is gay Royalty - and über-camp, unmistakably flamboyant, out-and-out KWEEEEEN.
Of course gay men never eat... like our royal forebears... we nibble but never swallow.... yeah right!!!! :laugh:
