I didn't see a topic for sharing our success, so I thought I'd start one here. I'm feeling overwhelmed with the goal of 100 pounds, so I'm breakin' it down into Months. If ya wanna join me, just let us know how many pounds you want to lose by the first of February, and check in each Week to report your success. You can retro-count your pounds lost since the first of this month if you'd like, but I just wanna see progress.
January Goal: 10 lbs.
Lost so far: 3 lbs.
So far, so good. I just wanna keep this momentum and rock the rest of this 10 lbs off! :happy:

Great , I was wondering what we were going to do. I'm still in the..... changing to a healthier eating lifestyle, so It's been a slow go .Having said that, I'm only going in for 5 lbs. I live in the south and you know everything here tastes better FRIED!!! I'm trying to limit myself though. I wish everyone a great sucess.

Awesome progress ladies! I'm so glad to read your success and not be doing this alone. Looks like we got some good goals in here and we are well on our way. Every pound lost is a victory! Thanks for joining me here.
Today I had a body analysis report done to see my body composition and recommended calories, protein, carbs and water etc. Good info, bad numbers. My lean body mass is 147, but I was hanging closer to 267. I'm doing pretty well with the plan to fix that, but I haven't been perfect. I'm still on track for making my goal though. So that's a win right?

well I have been doing this thin g for almost a week now and here is my stats... :laugh: So Happy!!!

Ulitimate goal weight - 140-150 lbs
I would like to lose between 10-15 lbs a month for the first six months and then 5-7 lbs a month after that because I know at that point it will get harder to lose.
Doing well so far. Lost 9 pounds in the first two weeks on the new year. Should be about to continue on and lose at least 15 to 20 in this first month. Its been rough. I haven't eaten any fast food and have also cut out soda, which is hard because I would have fast food at least 6 times a week usually and one or two sodas 5 times a week before the new year.0 -
Wow! Congrats ladies!!! It looks like you are already seeing some good numbers this year.
I know drastic lifestyle changes are a big kick in the pants, but it is so worth it. Just think of how great it's gonna be when the pants are smaller and the kick isn't so painful.0 -

I lost 120 lbs in 2006 and I had gained 60 lbs over the last 3 years - I never thought that I'd see 300 again ..

Goals: 7 lbs per month, to reach 169 by March of 2013.
Doing my own version of The South Beach Diet, adding as much water as I can stand (which is about 4 cups a day right now), and walking on my 15 minute breaks at work. Small steps for now and watching the high glycemic carbs as much as possible.
The 3 lbs loss in 2 days MUST be water weight or some natural fluxuation, but hey, I'll take it.0
